QB-geddon. Planning after losing D Jones/Daniels same week (1 Viewer)

Brutal week right before the playoffs if you owned these guys. I had both. Have the bye and so looking to weeks 16 and 17. Have Dart who is home to Min (3rd against QB’s) and @ Raiders (16). FA options

Mariota vs Eagles (12) vs Dallas (32)
JJ McCarthy @ NYG (30), vs Detroit (28)
Shough vs Jets (19) @ TN (25)
Sanders vs Bills (4), vs Pitt 24

At least plenty of good matchups to consider. Even the Bills are beatable through the air as we saw yesterday. What’s the right order for picking up 2-3 of these guys? For those heading into the playoffs who lost QB’s yesterday, who are you targeting and how are you planning to pair them?

For me I would go with Mariota because I think he has the best combo of floor and ceiling. At this point a low floor will kill you. I would adjust that if you are a huge underdog and need a ceiling performance to have a chance. In that case I would probably go with Shough due to the matchups.

I’m in the same boat, but Lawrence and Strous are also available, and I also have week 15 to worry about, now that Daniels gave me 2.7 points in his big return. Mariota’s schedule is looking good (add the Giants week 15 to the schedule you posted above).

I’m leaning either a Rodgers/JJ pairing to face the Lions secondary twice or Shough against Jets and Titans. If he’s now running vs Taysom I’m intrigued. Kellen’s up tempo is enticing.

Picked up Brissett when Daniels went down, so current plan is to ride him, but with Jones out and Daniels a trust issue even if he does play, looking at backup to have in place should something happen. Same cast of characters along with Young (vs Bucs (28 week 16); no bueno week 17 vs. Seahawks).

Would love to believe in JJ/Shough, but not sure I want to put my title hopes in their hands. "Safe" plays with ARog and Mariota, but both could easily spit the bit.

My hope is the Jacoby lightning lasts 3 more weeks...gotta have a little luck to get the title as well all know.

Shough is your best bet. He's playing for a chance to be the starter next year, and he has rushing upside. Normally I would say Mariota but WAS has mailed it in and lost a key piece in Ertz. JJM has a nice schedule but he doesn't throw it enough. Rodgers matchup is good vs DET but bad matchup at CLE that is going to be a slugfest and the weather could be a factor.

For week 16 Shough > Rodgers > Mariota > Sanders > JJM
For week 17 Shough > Mariota > JJM > Rodgers > Sanders

Lost Jones too. I'd be all in on Shough, if somebody in my league didn't pick him up before last week (pretty irritated about that).

Dude ain't bad, got a nice schedule, is running, and it's clear they want to let him rip down the stretch to see what he's got.

Problem is he faces Houston. They are the lightning squelchers at this point. If it was anybody else I would have no issue riding Brissett. I hesitate vs Houston.
