Two questions.

You can choose an existing QB and his coach from the poll for your NFL team. Coaches will be at the peak of their experience. Age and desire to coach will not be an issue. QBs are at the start of their career. No guarantee anything plays out the same as it has, different injury histories can result, etc.

Second poll question. You can choose from the same list of QBs at the start of their career as your QB. But your coach and GM will both be chosen at random from all coaches and GMs since 2000. Every 3 years you are given another random coach and GM whether you want to change or not. Again, no guarantee things play out the same for the QB in terms of injuries, how they are developed as players, etc.

Poorly performing coaches get replaced much more quickly in the NFL, so likely are going to outnumber successful coaches. The Browns and Raiders contribute 7 and 10 coaches to the list, while the Pats just contribute Belichick, the Steelers just Cowher and Tomlin, etc.

BB/Brady...that combo has the results.

QB on its own with whatever QB...give me who I think has the most overall talent that goes beyond system. For me, that is Rodgers. Can move, can make any throw...incredibly smart...arm strenght...all of it.

My concern with Rodgers is how much development it took for him to get to where he is. Can I count on a different coaching staff fixing his throwing motion as GB did, teaching him the same stuff he was able to learn sitting behind Favre, etc. Not that I think he's a bad pick, but that is probably the biggest downside for him in this. Every QB in the list has something that contributed to his career that you can't be sure how it is going to affect him if it is maybe taken away, though some I think there's more uncertainty than with others.

1) Bill and Tom. Belicheck is I don't know. My small brain isn't able to come up with the proper word for him. He finds the talents in people and puts them in positions to be amazing. It's also about the culture he creates. You hear people talk about going to the Patriots and how different it is. It's amazing. Of course, winning multiples this which then feeds back into his culture because more talent wants to go there. I'm not just talking about players either.

2) Aaron Rodgers. I believe that Rodgers at his peak is higher their any other QB at their peak. Arm strength, accuracy and mobile too. His 2011 season was art.

Belichick and Brady is the easy and only choice for the first part.

For the second I would go with Peyton but Rodgers is a close second. Ironically, based on the 'rules' for the poll, any reasonable person would put Brady last for the second because without Belichick who knows if he ever even gets a shot as a sixth round draft pick. He is the only one on the list who was drafted without any significant expectations.

I went with the majority, Bill/Brady is pretty much unprecedented in their success and ability to make all the other pieces around them work.

I went Peyton over Rodgers because, with a likely poor coach, he seems the best able to overcome bad coaching by doing it on the field. Rodgers may be the better pure talent, but he seems much more coach dependent.

I am not surprised these choices are the majority but am surprised so few people are voting for ANY QB other than Manning or Rodgers. I expected Brady to have far more support in poll two given how many people tout him as clearly better than Manning and the best of all time.
