Wes Welker is listed at 5'9", 185 lbs (which is a stretch IMO). He appears to be pretty good.

And he ran a blazing 4.65.Oh, and he had an outstanding 7.09 3 cone drill time (which wouldn't have even cracked the top 35 out of WR's THIS YEAR alone).

Guys with sub-par measurables can be studs but his luck was getting traded to the Pats. Had he stayed in Miami he would have languished with 70/700 seasons having Cleo Lemon, Pennington and Henne at QB.

I still dont understand whats wrong with comparing Blackmon to Nicks... theres nothing wrong with that... ok, so hes not going to be a top 5 dynasty WR, thats fine... hes still going to be a good NFL WR IMO, with the potential of elite stats if he gets the right situation. I dont know what the big debate is, he is a good WR, not breathtaking, but certainly an above average WR1 prospect.

That's my thinking. I don't know too many people who would be unhappy with Nicks or Roddy White, the two players I think he's most similar to. NFL evaluators must see something because the Rams were drooling over a chance to get him and the Jaguars gave up a 4th to move up two spots.
