Question about ESPN live online draft (2 Viewers)

Need some info about how the ESPN live online draft feature works. I have never used the live draft option on the ESPN site as we usually have a draft party and then I manually enter the teams after the fact. If an owner can't make it they will conf. call in or submit a list and someone else will draft for them. 10% of any winnings are given to the owner that drafted as compensation. The most we have every had not be able to make the draft is 2 owners and it has not really been a problem. This year there are 5 owners out of 12 that can not make the draft, so I was thinking about trying the online draft but have some reservations and don't want it to end up being a fiasco.

Of the 5 that can not make it, 1 is camping and will have no access, another is in Hawaii and just wants it to autodraft. The other 3 are good to go with calling in or live draft online. My question is this - with ESPN, can I as the commish can control the picks for the 7 of us that will be together at the draft, let the 2 that are out of out of range autodraft, and have the other 3 be online for the live online draft?

Does anyone know or have first hand experience with ESPN live online draft? I like the idea of the timer to move things along, but not sure what happens if someone does not pick in the time alloted?

Thanks for any input and advice.

Don't know about espn but if you can't pick for them using that you could set up a MFL league and use that to draft and manually enter the rosters into the whatever league management site you use after it is completed. You logged in as commisioner can pick for anyone @ MFL.

You can set it when a timer is expired the pick is to skipped, use adp,or use their cheatsheet if they decided to set one up.
