Question about keeping your cell number (1 Viewer)

I have no intention of changing my cell number that I've had for almost 16 years. But I started thinking: Now that I live in PA, does that mean people who call my phone are calling long distance? Obviously, cell to cell it doesn't matter. But if someone calls from a land line, is that considered long distance?

Yes. Consider getting a free google voice number that is local to where you live now and forward those calls to your cell. That's one work-around. If someone calls you a lot, they can use that google voice and avoid long-distance.

16 years? Did you have one of those brick cell phones?
You can change phones without changing numbers...you knew that, right? If not, I want to see YOUR phone! ;)
My timeline is probably off, I guess there were plenty of flip phones 16 years ago. Damn I'm old.
I hear you on the old part...I realized during this thread that I opened my cell phone stores in 2003...I had my first camera phone 11 years ago. 11 years. I've had a flip phone since 1997.
