Question to FBG staffers.. (1 Viewer)

I'm trying to figure out if they are solely on a dynasty basis or if some redraft consideration is made.

I can't imagine why anyone would need to look at the rookie rankings for a redraft league (unless they did some bizarre 2nd draft for rookies). For the most part rookie rankings are solely for dynasty leaguers, but it seems that a lot of redraft consideration is made in these rankings and is most noteable in some of the comments.

I'm just curious because I've gotten this vibe on multiple occasions when looking at the rookie rankings.

The rookie rankings are meant to be a guide for rookie drafts in dynasty leagues. Some of the comments may have been made with re-draft in mind, that were mistakenly, also tagged for the rookie rankings. I think if you look at my comments on the rookie rankings - they are all geared towards the rookie draft. I will take a look and see and make an adjustment, if necessary.

OK, that makes some sense. Thanks, Jeff.PS, I really like your rankings BTW. A bit against the grain in ways I agree with.

Anyone stand out in particular? Or I should say, which players do you like apart from the consensus?

Speaking of rookie rankings, what happened to Waldman's ranking of Damian Williams. In the RSP, he had him listed as the #2 rookie WR. Now, he's not ranked in his top 40.

I like that you've got Hardesty and Ben Tate as low as you do. I also like that you have Mike Williams, LaFell and Shipley as high as you do. You seem to like the WR's this year a lot more than any other position and I agree.

Waldman sure does seem to have a highly complimentary comment attached to a guy he didn't even rank there. Some of his rankings seem to be almost just looking for the shock factor. He is the outlier by a mile on some of them.

Mike Williams has the talent and opportunity to make a big impact this year. If he can adapt to the game quickly and establish a good rapport with Josh Freeman, he could have a very good rookie season.
