Quizz is different. Can't take a RB drafted in the 5th in the mid 1st round.
Who?No love because he has 2 solid guys ahead of him on depth chart. And because Atlanta proved with misuse of Norwood that they are clueless on how to utilize a scat back.
Well, i guess its possible that Turner and Snelling both break their legs before the season starts. If not, sit on him for 2-3 years until Turner retires...Quizz Rodgers, a faster, stronger, better recieving version of Warrick Dunn. With Turner getting dinged up he's in prime position to make things happen.I have no problem taking him after the 1.7 spot in Dynasty.Giddy Up!Tex
I can assure you quizz is not as fast as Dunn was.Quizz Rodgers, a faster, stronger, better recieving version of Warrick Dunn. With Turner getting dinged up he's in prime position to make things happen.I have no problem taking him after the 1.7 spot in Dynasty.Giddy Up!Tex

Maybe my original post is too small and I should have put it in all caps but I said DYNASTY.Sorry for the confusion.Ill take turners " break down" numbers again this year lol
I don't think anybody's confused. He'll probably go late second in most DYNASTY drafts, last round flyer in redraft.'BigTex said:Maybe my original post is too small and I should have put it in all caps but I said DYNASTY.Sorry for the confusion.'Boom Switch said:Ill take turners " break down" numbers again this year lol
I agree with you on the first part, but Frank Gore is only 27 years old and doesn't really have a whole lot of carries (due to missing game to injuries). I don't think his hip injury required any surgery either. He is however in the final year of his contract so it's possible Hunter could pay big dividends, but the 49ers brass has recently reiterated their desire to keep Gore a 49er, though they could just be blowing smoke for the sake of team morale.'ty247 said:I don't mind the Kendall Hunter situation in San Fran at all.An aging Frank Gore, coming off of hip surgery.. little competition aside from Gore of course, on an improving run blocking offensive line.I'm surprised there isn't more talk about that.
Most likely. Gore turns 28 this month and my gut tells me that 2011 will be Gore's last with the 49ers. He no doubt will want a big deal to re-sign so if they like what see in Hunter this year he's gone.I agree with you on the first part, but Frank Gore is only 27 years old and doesn't really have a whole lot of carries (due to missing game to injuries). His game speed is faster than his 40 time.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfqwHejd3HI&feature=relatedAnd he's not afraid to lay someone out!He ran a 4.64/40 at the combine and measured 5'5 7/8". He's an intriguing prospect but when you're that small you need to be faster than everyone else......and he's not.
Ummmmm.....OK. I'll buy into that philosophy when you're talking about a 225# bruiser...but when a LITTLE guy is slow WITHOUT pads, I'll pass. His game speed is faster than his 40 time.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfqwHejd3HI&feature=relatedAnd he's not afraid to lay someone out!He ran a 4.64/40 at the combine and measured 5'5 7/8". I'm too lazy to hunt for the link, but Dimitroff said Quizz will become part of the 2011 offense. (Meaning Norwood may not also). Now Dimitroff needs to tell that to Mularkey who mysteriously lost the pages of his playbook on screen passes a number of seasons ago. The Falcons have to be the worst screen passing NFL team and because they don't practice it, the worst at defending the screen. Perhaps, finally this year, they will discover it with the new scat back.No love because he has 2 solid guys ahead of him on depth chart. And because Atlanta proved with misuse of Norwood that they are clueless on how to utilize a scat back.
