RAIDERS @ BRONCOS - Game Thread (2 Viewers)

Seymour trying to get his own personal foul on that sack. totally unnecessary body slam.

Raiders fans: THIS is why the rest of the world hates your team.

:lmao:Guys will be kicking 70 yard FGs regularly in a couple of decades. No big deal.
yeah that will be the "live ball" era and they will inflate the footballs with helium.
We're in Denver here. Essentially the ball is filled with helium. In fact, on an equivalent scale Dempsey's FG would be right at about 70 in Denver yards.
Subtracting for Dempsey's wooden foot, we're back to 63 yards.

Grove, were you watching when Guy was playing? You didn't have to be a Raider fan to know how good this guy was.
No, he's before my time. But I think he's a guy whose legend is bigger than his actual performance. He was a great punter, but I think he's more myth than reality at this point.
LOL @ "myth"...
There's all sorts of ridiculous claims about his hangtime and such that just simply aren't even possible. I'm sure he was better than all of the punters of his time. There's a good chance he's still one of the best ever. But that doesn't mean he could out punt Lechler. I believe Lechler has the records for longest gross and net punt average for a season. And it blows away Guy.
Check this out from NFL films
There's a whole lot more to a good punter than distance.

NFL 32? Anyone gonna watch? If you have NFLN what is the use of anything ESPN mutters? Honestly I like SportsNation because you can tell what the hot points were on Colin's show...the hot blonde is nice to look at too. Am I going to want to watch Suzy Kolber? Maybe if hey had Joe Namath co-host but otherwise

Raiders will lose this game if they dont get some semblance of a passing game going.

Don't hate on crippled people, guy.

you wanna blame someone, blame the refs for chocking on the whistle. The body slam started before the whistle was blown.

Nothing is a slam dunk with Jason Campbell as your QB.

Has the 'new offensive coordinator' excuse finally run its course to mask that the guy just isn't that good??

------

Was that Bubby Brister at QB there for the Broncos??

please show your math. i understand that the ball generally carries better at a higher altitude, but i have no idea where your estimate of +7 yards came from. in addition, i believe it's much harder to kick a ball off of bad grass (you can see how torn up the field is tonight) and the ball doesn't carry as well when there's so much moisture in the air (i'm sure you saw the downpour earlier).so, i have no idea how much SeaBass's kick would compare to Dempsey's, but i don't think it's fair to write this one off just because it came in denver.

You knew a long run was coming for McFadden.

Too bad he let Bailey get him at the one.

Only knock I see from a FF perspective is he's a little too willing/quick to take himself out of the game. I remember Edge you to drive me crazy when he'd get inside the five then tap his helmet to come out.
