Rain in Green Bay plus Redskins Cover 2... (1 Viewer)

Is anyone else benching Favre this week? It's rainy in Green Bay, plus, that Redskins' cover 2 is gonna give Favre problems (they were just mentioning this on ESPN).

I'm starting Derek Anderson in place of Favre this week. Is anyone else benching Brett?

Just looking at the weather map on this. There are some nasty rain clouds going that way, light rain now but in 3 hours might be heavy.

IMO a sloppy field is good for the offense. Slick ball is bad for the QB. Is it going to be raining throughout the game? Does anyone know?

I dont see the weather being the problem here. I am sitting Favre in one league, Warner, due to the defense of the Redskins. I would be doing this even if it was sunny and 70 out here. The rain... there was more rain in the morning here than there is now. I would bet the field is damp... not much else.

Take a look for yourself. Like I said, I am more worried about the defense. Of course, the rain could help Favre as the WR know where they are going etc. etc.

Overcast with showers at times. Doesnt sound like a continual downpour is expected. Considering they can dry the ball (unless it is that downpour) but not the field, this is an advantage for their style of play this year - short passes that count on YAC.

Point taken...I just have a feeling this is going to be a sloppy game with little scoring by the offenses. Both defenses are very good. I'm feeling a 13-10 win for Green Bay.

Redskins D has not faced anything like the GB passing offense this season. Favre should be able to light up the middle of the field.
