Legs just did not feel right yesterday morning after the trip to Wisconsin and a few days with no running...so got out for 3.75 slower miles yesterday. This morning, met up with gruecd and ran 10 with some of his people. Great meeting him and big thanks to him and his friends for slowing down a bit in the last bit of the run so I did not get lost along the way. Was always easy earlier in the run to spot him in that bright bourbon shirt. Thanks a lot.Couldn't tell you anything about pace since I left the Garmin at my parent's house before heading out.Started by 8 I know and was done about 9:30 so guessing for much of it I was around 9:40ish and then a bit faster on the tail end of the run.Never felt too bad...even got a few hills in this run. Could not ask for better weather for Wisconsin on New Years Eve.Thanks again grue...I really appreciate it.
No problem, buddy. Good run, and nice to meet you in person. Your last couple of miles were probably in the 8:30-8:40 range, so you definitely picked up the pace a little bit.

I ran 5 beforehand for a total of 15 today at 8:16 average pace. Could've definitely gone faster, but I decided to just hang out and run with some buddies instead. Kinda surprised I felt so good, considering I did a relatively hard 8-miler late yesterday afternoon, and I only got 4 hours of sleep after being out drinking Sapphire martinis until 2 AM. Oh, well.Finished with 45 miles for the week and 2,552 miles for the year, a 6% increase over 2010.Heading to Milwaukee tonight to tear it up with a buddy of mine. Happy New Year's, guys!
