Just checking in quickly. Good luck to the racers this weekend, Grue in particular since you've got a lot riiding on the outcome.
Thanks to everybody for the well wishes after my father's stroke (especially Ned). He is doing remarkably well and with the support of my wife and in-laws I am planning to run the marathon next month. It helps that Dad is back home and functioning. His stroke was minor and he has recovered pretty quickly.
I ran a ten-miler at MP this morning and I am planning on 21 on Saturday. My training has been disrupted but not critically. I will be fine.
Very sorry to hear about Tom Brady. Is Midol a banned substance by the NFL?

cycling burns a ton more.
That's a ginormous number of folks who were BQ-20 and BQ-10 ...shocking, really. And you're right, after the BQ-5 get registered, it will be a rather small pool next week ...much less stretching to the 23rd.
I'd avoid. The first 1/4 mile is the best congestion reducer (sans meds) IMO.
