Tried like a SOB but failed to make my goal race weight of 215. Weighed in at 218.2 this morning. Still should be an improvement as I was in the upper 230s for the Black Mountain and Biltmore Marathons and lower 230s for Umstead 100 and finally upper 220s for Burning River 100. Been eating clean and around 1500-1800 cal a day for weeks. Hardly even know what a beer tastes like. Went with more of a marathon training approach and relying on the 88 at Burning River 10 weeks ago sufficing for a long run. Did one 24 miler mostly downhill to build the quads plus leg work in the gym most of September. Outside of that it's been mostly 9-13 mile runs several times a week. Diligent on the rolling, yoga, and stretching. Feeling good about getting this done.
