OK can @gruecd and @SteelCurtain please stop lollygagging around the finish and upload to Strava? I mean it isn't a PR until it's on Strava. What are they doing???
Now what would be awesome is if @gruecd waited for @The Iguana at the finish line and tackled him just before he crossed so he couldn't get in before 3:45.
I definitely feel like the JV squad with these guys.

AB dot on tracker stopped for me before 3:40. Hopefully just a lot of finishers lagging the times.
If you want I can post my Strava runToday, there are no pooosaaays anywhere to be found here.
I'm looking for one, but it seems to be locked secure behind fort Knox every winter
You did more than battle hard, you came in way faster than the app had you predicted. Can't wait to see the detail on your Strava. That was some serious #BMFery. The wind was pretty tough last 5k. But I battled hard the last stretch as you’ll see in my paces.
There's something strangely masochistic about the reward for one race being the chance to get into another one...@Zasada, looking forward to you joining the lottery party next year after you nail Miwok.
If you want a pre-made plan, check our Hal Koerner’s book. But if you’ve read Koop’s book then you have what you need to build out your own, which is what I did in 2017 for States. I’ll try and find mine from that year and share it with you, it would apply for a 100K equally well since I’ve never been a high mileage guy (I’m too slow and it would take too long to be high mileage!)There's something strangely masochistic about the reward for one race being the chance to get into another one...
I read Koop's Training Essentials for Ultrarunning. Can you refer me to a five-month training plan for one's first 100K?![]()
My sister, BIL and nephew all ran the half today and said the same. All the more BMFery. The wind was pretty tough last 5k. But I battled hard the last stretch as you’ll see in my paces.
Sorry it didn't work out how you hoped. Some great training leading up to it and your day is coming. Enjoy the rest of the weekend, BMF.Disappointed but went for it and am at a bar. Congrats to the marathoners today, great job guys.
I've never felt like this after a race. I feel fine. I couldnt have gone any faster, when I was trying to chase 3rd place down the final quarter mile I felt light headed and wanted to vomit so I achieved mHR. But, 3 hours later. Hell, less than an hour later. Fine. Oddly refreshing.Dude, aren't you tired?
I bet you're typing this with your feet, aren't you twinkle toes?
Yeah it was. Prob cost me a minute out there. The wind was pretty tough last 5k.
Iggy accidently discarded his run from his Garmin. Thus he still hasn't run a marathon.OK can @gruecd and @SteelCurtain please stop lollygagging around the finish and upload to Strava? I mean it isn't a PR until it's on Strava. What are they doing???
We have to hear about all this again?Iggy accidently discarded his run from his Garmin. Thus he still hasn't run a marathon.
Btw, reading your post and looking at your avatar on here is just sheer perfection.Iggy accidently discarded his run from his Garmin. Thus he still hasn't run a marathon.
You get the exemption where a finish screenshot and manual entry will count. Great job, enjoy the day! Wishing you recovery of the stravarun and your legs. Will catch up on all this in a bit but first this... I didn't click save on my watch at the end and may have lost the run. If it's not on strava, it doesn't count.

quick Google search says I might be able to recover it. Might cry if I can't...
