I like 165lbs. Even at that weight, the Bod Pod measures me at 15% body fatDang! So what do you feel is your ideal weight? And how do we add some strength to those bones?
. I'm genetically a scrawny geek. I was very active in University with tennis and hockey, but still a scrawny geek. So if I could trade some of that 25lbs of fat for muscle, and stay at 165 total, I'd be thrilled.I’m sure peloton has amazing calibration. I’ve rode them before, but they don’t have a calibration that I’m aware of. For example my wahoo recommends calibration before every ride. Also says to do a 10 min warmup before hand. This is one thing I've heard that bothers me about the Peloton. For a product at this price level, the power numbers should almost be dead on. The computrainers I used to use had a calibration procedure. Does the peloton platform not have this?
I used to do it. But once I got to 2 workouts a day it didn’t work for me anymore.I literally cannot fathom this. Not. At. AllI only eat one meal a day
No clue what’s in there but judging by the size, I’d say 700-900. Also, I’ve been doing one meal a day for about 4 years now. Went from 235 at my heaviest to 155 at my lightest. I’ll never go back.
No, but it looks delicious.

They may mean it differently, but I really only eat one 'meal' per day too. I just graze all day though. Not sure if they do - or not. I've had better success with weight control since I went to one meal. If I'm in a high volume exercise period then I naturally eat a little more amidst my grazing. If I'm going through a recovery day or three I eat less during the day. This is still relatively new though. Didn't really flip the switch to this until about a year ago. It's like you people are from a different planet...
No grazing here. Fast for 20-24 hours everyday. They may mean it differently, but I really only eat one 'meal' per day too. I just graze all day though. Not sure if they do - or not. If I really want, I can control my eating and drinking to drop or maintain weight. But, man, it is nowhere near as fun as not counting calories every meal.I run so I caneat.drink.
Nope, no grazing. The downside of one huge meal a day is that once I start eating, it's like flipping a switch. "IT'S EATING TIME", my body says, and I just start consuming everything. They may mean it differently, but I really only eat one 'meal' per day too. I just graze all day though. Are you sure there is cake? I heard we had to choose between cake, ice cream, pie or pastry.Whoever has the keys to the Strava bus, you might see a couple of new member requests from some guys over in the bike thread. I told them there was cake.
Don't forget the cookies! Are you sure there is cake? I heard we had to choose between cake, ice cream, pie or pastry.
Oh yeah, forgot the cookies. My bad. I’m having 2 of the 5 today (pastry/donut + ice cream). Might have a piece of pie just for fun.Don't forget the cookies!

All that said, power is not for comparing to other people, power is for measuring against your own baseline.
This is what power is for: https://www.google.com/amp/s/blog.wahoofitness.com/by-the-numbers-power/amp/
I use Zwift along with my Garmin Edge and get all these metrics. Always kinda knew what they were but never had it spelled out as clearly as that article. Thanks! One big, or several smaller euphemisms at play here.my wahoo recommends calibration before every ride. Also says to do a 10 min warmup before hand.

6 1/2 miles today, thanks to starting an Every Single Street project here in my town. If I'm going to be stuck running roads for awhile, I wanted to have something to distract me from the monotony. Found an app that links to Strava that shows the roads you've run on and those you've missed, so I look like a fat and slow @MAC_32 running around with my phone in my hand.Well, first I'll have to work my way back up to running 6 miles. So I've got that going for me. Which is nice......BassNBrew said:10k test run last night. 1:16 and change so 1-2 min over predicted time. A better course will help that. @SFBayDuck what type of pace have you been posting. 3 weeks to gain some fitness

But man the Strava phone apps sucks! It had me flying over 2 streets of houses in a straight line at one point, and it totally missed a few little Courts I ran down and back up so now I have to repeat those. My watchband delivery is now delayed, but I think I'm just going to carry it in my pocket and use it instead. Also, my town has an annoying number of dead end private streets.

Apropos of nothing, I finally figured out that your profile picture was an iguana with the edges cropped. All this time I'd been seeing it as a green baby/fetus grabbing the roof of a house![]()
I've been semi-steadily losing weight the last 18-24 months and it's kind of a result of going the other way - eating more often but smaller amounts. I love to eat way too much to think about only getting to do it once a day! Like the process of eating, the tasting of the food, everything about it!
I thought it might be from a cheesy horror movie or something.Well not now, my fitness has slipped too much. But you guys thought I ran 100 miles? That'd be insane! So you can't fly? Interesting, notebook updated.
If I see a guy running with his phone in his hand then I’ll assume it’s you and throw change at you. You’re still in Novato right? Yup, hitting all these damned Courts off of Center Rd near my house to get started. I’ll get over to Hamilton by the Coast Guard hangar soon enough. If I see a guy running with his phone in his hand then I’ll assume it’s you and throw change at you. You’re still in Novato right? I rearranged your post into double haiku format. I think it works better like this.Just got back from my run.
A weight has been lifted from me.
I am free.
Had to poop under a tree.
First time I've ever pooped outside in my life.
I feel like a new man.
I'd show you the secret handshake, but for the Outside Poopers Club ("OPC"), it's not exactly sanitary. So our secret handshake is that we don't have a secret handshake.Just got back from my run.

While I appreciate the literalness of your formatting change, the elegance of the original work is the depth that was reached. I was really trying to squeeze out the double meanings. I really wanted the reader to be able to interpret the writing in the way that best matches how they are feeling at that moment, and not just dump or force a narrative on them. I wanted it to flow without restrictions.I rearranged your post into double haiku format. I think it works better like this.
Love how your 2020 low is my all-time high. You're a titan. Kick ###.217 miles for me in April. That's the lowest monthly total for me this year but I think that's fine.
