Leyland should be fired, it dont matter what you do in the regular season. The point is not to have a good regular season, but to win the championship...and Leyland made so many horrible mistakes he should be out, fired. So tell me Leyland, what was the benefit of saving Fister? You cant play in a game 7 if you dont win game 6.If you start Scherzer in a must win when Fister is available and you dont win, you should lose your job if your willing to take gambles like that.Plus telling the other teams who is available in our Pen is beyond moronic.Austin Jackson is the worst lead off hitter in all of baseball.
The move is to ignore this, I know...but this is the dumbest thing I've read in here by such a wide margin. May God have mercy on your soul.

Fister wasn't available. This rant is moronic.

Leyland's biggest mistake was not treating V like the ace he is. How he doesn't throw 1/4/7 in this series is beyond me. Especially when you're down 2-1 going into game 4 and V only threw 4 innings / 82 pitches in game 1. You have to win game 4 in this series if you're Detroit. There's no way you're going back to Texas and taking 2. You do whatever you have to do to avoid that scenario.

Leyland's biggest mistake is keeping Gene Lamont on staff but as far as the series goes, I tend to agree with you. But that's Leyland, I knew that was gonna happen.

I agree with this in theory, but the fact is Verlander hasn't been shutting anybody down for several starts now. Porcello has actually been solid and looked terrific until his unfortunate final inning in game four. I think pushing JV would have made him less effective than he's been already. He has had to throw a ton of pitches to get through 6 and 7 innings as it is.If Verlander had shown himself to be more efficient pitch-wise and was dominating like he did all year, I would definitely say 1-4-7 was the way to go, but nothing I've seen from him (or Porcello) convinced me that things would have been any better as the series played out.

Game 1 Wilson- Verlander

Game 2 Holland- Porcello

Game 3 Lewis- Fister

Game 4 Harrison- Sherzer

Advantage to the Tigers in starting pitching, with the Rangers having the better bullpen. lol at anyong thinking Harrison, Colby Cheese or the other guy are better than Scherzer, that is pretty entertaining. Hitting is pretty much the same, maybe a very slight advantage to the Rangers. These are the 5th and 6th biggest media markets in the AL, I think the ratings will be fine.

Tigers have owned the Rangers the past few years and I think it continues here. Tigers in five.
Enjoy the OU win. Rangers going to take Tigers down. Rangers in 5.

Come on Rangers!!!
Brutal. ;) Was waiting for Valverde to give up a big hit!
Sorry DD but I was off a game.

Detroilet got demolished once again in a big playoff series. Outscored 39 - 25. 5 errors.Almost as bad as the '06 series when they were outscored 22 - 11 and committed 8 errors in 5 games. :lmao:

DD would you like to see a pic of my '06 WS ring, its got 50+ daimonds and has been appraised for 10's of 1000's. It's pretty sweet.

Did you get that ring as a fluffer on the 2006 team?

Would you like some World Series tickets? Reminisce about the '06 series? My database skills are correct, and the Tigers did indeed have 8 errors in 5 games that series, didn't they?

Two things:(1) I'm not even a Cards fan, just have a ring(2) You're a pompous ### who deserved to take some #### for your lowly, error prone Tigers

So of the 2006 Cards, which one did you enjoy fluffing the most? You never answered my question.

I believe the only fluffing was in the Detroit locker room, and based on the stats it was Inge fluffing the pitching staff.Did Detroit set a record in the series for a runs scored to errors ratio? 8 errors, 11 runs scored. :lmao: How did they even make the series?

Can we see a photo of you, one of the Cards you had relations with, the ring and your Bichon? I think this would wrap it all up quite nicely so to speak. Please no nudes, this is a family forum.

Edmonds made a few passes at me, which I politely declined. Inge made a few passes at me too before the '09 home run derby in St. Louis, before he put up a 0. At least he got a complimentary gatorade and got to hang with Erin Andrews. He also got to see Nelson Cruz hit several shots to the upper deck of Busch, so he was quite used to what Detroilet saw just recently.Peace out Doctor, go kick some rocks.
