Was thinking the same thing, but if he goes in the 3rd to the right team he's still got good potential. We haven't hit Dwyer lever with Miller just yet. I'm gonna wait and see before I start pushing him down too far, but he is getting close to that 1.12/2.01 shift.Edit: I kind of like the fall so I can land him later in my drafts.Miller falling pretty far. Gonna have to drop him down my board a bit.
Seems like the NFL is confirming the concerns I have about him.Miller falling pretty far. Gonna have to drop him down my board a bit.
I kicked him into the 2nd prior to the draft. I just don't like him and it will take him going to an ideal situation for me to draft him high. Was thinking the same thing, but if he goes in the 3rd to the right team he's still got good potential. I don't believe that for a second. That's a team trying to make their first rounder happy. They wanted Floyd.According to a Yahoo report the Rams wanted Blackmon, but after not getting him were hoping to get Brockers. Floyd wasn't even on the radar.I wonder if they were targeting Floyd at #14. I think there's a huge gap between him and guys like Hill/Randle, and I think the Rams really lost that gamble big time. I would not be too pleased about having to settle for one of the guys you listed. They're all big time gambles, whereas Floyd looks pretty close to a sure thing IMO.Looking head to tomorrow, the Rams have 3 second rounders including the first pick with Reuben Randle, Stephen Hill, Alshon Jeffrey, etc. still available. Gotta believe the Rams and Browns are likely to pluck 2 of those guys quickly.
I can see the Lions drafting MillerHillman to the Broncos is a GREAT landing spot... Miller to the Jets at 3.14 or Chargers at 3.15? Can't believe how far hes sliding.
Gotta believe Miller will go before the round is over.Washington is a one-cut team and a lot of people have said Miller is that type of runner, so maybe he comes off here.Would make some sense with Washington moving down, likely knowing that none of these teams would draft a RB.Hillman to the Broncos is a GREAT landing spot... Miller to the Jets at 3.14 or Chargers at 3.15? Can't believe how far hes sliding.
I can't believe he'd make it past the Bengals at 3.20 to make it to the Lions at 3.22. Maybe the Lions look at Polk? Neither of these guys should make it out of round 3...I can see the Lions drafting MillerHillman to the Broncos is a GREAT landing spot... Miller to the Jets at 3.14 or Chargers at 3.15? Just a pocketful of questions with him...what to do with Posey now?
He should be able to run rings around NFL defenses..Just a pocketful of questions with him...what to do with Posey now?

Nice work.If we go only by position and draft pick (so that Richardson is just "RB taken with the 3rd overall pick"), then here are the rankings based on historical data for career VBD (no PPR, start 1QB-2RB-3WR-1TE):
3 RB Trent Richardson - Cleveland Browns
1 QB Andrew Luck - Indianapolis Colts
5 WR Justin Blackmon - Jacksonville Jaguars
2 QB Robert Griffin III - Washington Redskins
13 WR Michael Floyd - Arizona Cardinals
20 WR Kendall Wright - Tennessee Titans
31 RB Doug Martin - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
32 RB David Wilson - New York Giants
8 QB Ryan Tannehill - Miami Dolphins
30 WR A.J. Jenkins - San Francisco 49ers
33 WR Brian Quick - St. Louis Rams
22 QB Brandon Weeden - Cleveland Browns
50 RB Isaiah Pead - St. Louis Rams
61 RB LaMichael James - San Francisco 49ers
67 RB Ronnie Hillman - Denver Broncos
43 WR Stephen Hill - New York Jets
34 TE Coby Fleener - Indianapolis Colts
45 WR Alshon Jeffery - Chicago Bears
54 WR Ryan Broyles - Detroit Lions
84 RB Bernard Pierce - Baltimore Ravens
63 WR Rueben Randle - New York Giants
68 WR DeVier Posey - Houston Texans
69 WR T. J. Graham - Buffalo Bills
83 WR Mohamed Sanu - Cincinnati Bengals
92 WR T. Y. Hilton - Indianapolis Colts
64 TE Dwayne Allen - Indianapolis Colts
78 TE Michael Egnew - Miami Dolphins
Sanu is locked into the 24th spot regardless of who is drafted tomorrow, but others could still leapfrog Hilton and the TEs.
I used the same data from this post, but analyzed differently. Basically, for each position I looked at the career VBD of every player drafted 1993-2006 and plotted a best-fit curve based on draft pick. At TE, I'm using the average of the historical numbers for TEs and WRs, since TE has become much more of a receiving position (otherwise Fleener would be down by Sanu; or if we treated him as a pure receiver he'd be up by Quick).
Well, Michael Silver was in the room when they traded down and long before Floyd was picked they told him Brockers was the guy they would have drafted at 6 if they couldn't trade back. Tough to deny that...http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nfl--rams-get-their-man-michael-brockers--ndash--after-their-first-two-choices-were-drafted.htmlI don't believe that for a second. Maybe it's purely circumstantial, but what stands out to me is the utter lack of elite NFL teams on this list.'ZWK said:If we go only by position and draft pick (so that Richardson is just "RB taken with the 3rd overall pick"), then here are the rankings based on historical data for career VBD (no PPR, start 1QB-2RB-3WR-1TE):
