Rashad Greene (1 Viewer)

Quez

He was targeted pretty heavy week 1 7/28/1td, but I didn't see any mention of him in the FBG waiver article. Maybe because of his injury? I think I saw concussion & back concussion... I'm ot sure if either are serious.

I watched every game of his at FSU & the guy is a play maker. He might not have the size & speed of other pedigree guys, but he has great hands. I was disappointed the Bucs selected Kenny Bell over him in the draft. :(

Curious to hear the SP's thoughts on this guy. 13 targets for a rookie, with a team that will be behind a lot, is intriguing. That many targets tells me he ran good routes and has the eye on his QB.

No concussion. It was updated as a back contusion. Haven't heard anything since then though. I'm intrigued by him. I think Marquise Lee was out giving him more opportunity. I don't know if he loses snaps when Lee comes back as things may get shifted around. Lee may not play this week either and missed the entire preseason. Greene may be a sneaky play this weekend since I expect Miami to jump ahead early.

have him in a couple of dynasty leagues... last week was one of the weirdest stat lines I've seen. Used like running plays, which would be fine except there were six incomplete passes, too (!?!)

so 13 attempts, 28 yards and one TD. Those are the numbers of a plodding RB. But this is FF, and in PPR, he did better than most.

I'm encourage by the targets. I am not encouraged by the results or the QB (or that he is dinged). When JT comes back, I see 2 TE sets with Greene being the odd person out.

I think Hurns is the sneaky play in JAX

slot receiver in a game with their prized offseason FA acquisition out with injury? he's got value until Julius returns maybe but let's not overthink this.

didn't even know he was injured (back contusion aside). Looked promising in the short, unexpected viewing.

The Florida Times Union's Ryan O'Halloran "fully expects" Rashad Greene to be the Jaguars' No. 3 receiver this year.
"If the [Jaguars] get anything out of [Marqise] Lee, it will be a bonus," O'Halloran said on Mike Clay's Sirius XM Fantasy show. Whereas Greene is entrenched in the slot, Lee is the top backup for perimeter receivers Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns. The Jags may not go three wide especially often as a two-tight end team that will employ Julius Thomas and Marcedes Lewis together more frequently. Greene is low-ceiling stash in PPR Dynasty leagues.
