It's being reported on Rotoworld Ray Lewis suffered a torn triceps in Monday night's game. Any inside word on his status? Please post here as info becomes available.

Ravens reporting that their trainers, at this point, believe it is a strain. A MRI has/will be done today(TUE), look for results this afternoon or tomorrow. No official word yet.

Lewis himself said that he tore it..... But I find it hard to believe that he would be able to finish the game if he tore a major muscle in his arm.

I heard same and feel the same way you do. He told someone from ESPN at halftime or just after the game that he tore it. A strain is a minor tear by the way. If it was major, I don't think he could have continued. As a Bmore fan I certainly hope it's not a serious tear, that would almost certainly mean IR.link from espn: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3013691

Ravens are off today and Billick isn't holding a press conference -- unlikely that any news will emerge until tomorrow

That horse collar he got called for was entirely with the left (unhurt) arm. Left me with the impression that the right arm was pretty useless out there.[speculation]I'm not doctor, but I have it on good authority that there are three heads to the triceps muscle (hence the name)... he could have torn any of the three, gone into the locker room, taken a shot for the pain, and gone out to try to make the best of it. Once the shot / game adrenaline wears off, reality is bound to set in.[/speculation]

ESPN reports no tear to the main triceps muscle and Ray says he'll play this Sunday.

Local radio station WNST reports that Ogden is out this week and that McNair is up in the air, but that Boller took all the snaps at practice today.
