RB A.J. Dillon, PHI (1 Viewer)

Its clear watching that offense...that Jones is just that much better...that much more dynamic in the offense.
I like Dillon, nice guy and all and a decent runner, but not sure his real fit in the offense.
Ya, he was a target of mine last year but Jones showed he’s far better. Wanted no part of him this year…would much rather take a shot at guys like Warren, Gainwell

Jones definitely looks more explosive - but From what I saw Dillion was hit at or behind the line of scrimmage on most carries where Jones had gaping holes. Jones also came up with a hammy twinge so something to monitor.

For the older people here Dillon reminds of Ron Dayne's NFL career. People want him to be a shifty power back and he's really neither. And he looks like he's getting slower every year. Just like I wanted Dayne to be a stud it was clear with the Giants that Barber was the much better back. It seems that LaFleur finally realized this in the 2nd half. It was embarrassing how they completely went away from Jones that 2nd quarter. Hopefully Jones is ok or Dillon figures something out quickly because it's becoming more and more apparent that Dillon aint it.

I'm thinking of moving him with his price high right now....trying for a 1st round pick next year.

His price could be a lot higher or lower in a few hours so make your time.
That's why I sold now.....when Jones is back he's the lead. I got a likely top 5 pick for him in next year's draft..
Holy crap… You actually pulled that off? No one in any of my leagues would pay that. That makes me sad.

Yup, I offered and he accepted -he's hurting bad at RB...happy with it, had Dillon for a few years and felt it was time.

Ron Dayne was so slow. 4.66 40 time, but played even slower. Dillon was 4.53. Otherwise, it's not a bad comparison because pretty much every RB should have and would have been on the bench behind Tiki. Same with Jones. I think non-packers fans really don't understand how dynamic Jones is. It's less of a rip on Dillon that he doesn't deserve touches over Jones than people think. I still think Dillon could have been a starting quality RB for more than 1/2 the teams in the league, but no, he isn't better than Jones and his usage seems about appropriate given how much more Jones does with his touches. It's pretty tough for a RB to get in a groove when the guy in front of him is running all over the place and you only get to blast off on a 3rd and short or with a goalline carry.

If A.J. doesn't finish top as a top 10 fantasy RB today,he will be sent to the dustbin of fantasy football.

Aaron Jones has been a top-5 RB throughout his career, he's just never gotten the workload to fully show it.

I'm indifferent to Dillon (think he's a 15-20 guy this week) but being behind Jones means nothing to his quality of play.

He’s averaged 4.2 YPC. He’s a little underrated. Could be top 12 or better this week easily. Depends on how much work he gets as a receiver IMO.

5-7 receptions he could crack the top 10. Without Watsonor Jones it’s certainly possible

Also possible the Packers offense sucks without Jones, Watson and Bahktiari.

There are many possibilities on the spectrum of outcomes.

Some are more likely than others.

You might want to note who’s out for the Falcons as well, since missing top LB can often help opposing RB.

Dillon is a solid play today.

Another ho hum day for Dillon. He's a nice guy and as a Packer fan I'd love for him to succeed but I just don't see it with him. He's not very shifty and for his size he goes down way to easy. There were 3 times today he stumbled over his over feet. I really hope he figures it out soon but he's looking more ordinary each and every game.

Especially those two late plays to try and close out the game. I would have rather they put that in Love’s hands

Crazy to think that the RB position was a strength for them, but both now hurt/ineffective, while the young WR's continue to crush.

Last year the thought among some (me included) was that Dillon could challenge for the job. Jones shut that down and Dillon was fairly useless. So this year he’s more of an injury stash and he gets his shot with Jones out and gets a handful of points. He’s basically droppable IMO…where’s the upside?

Another week without Jones. He could splash a TD or two, or it could be another <100 total yards with no scores.

No argument, he was trippy. Won't be in my lineup ever again unless something really changes
This stood up 0 weeks. lol Getting a start due to injuries. No confidence.

Same. Hazzard of going receiver heavy early in a 14 team league for me. But hey, he's due for a TD. Right? :ponder:

If Aaron Jones sits, how are we feeling about this plodder against the best RB matchup in the NFL?

Someone dropped him a couple days ago in one of my leagues. This bye week is pure hell.

Yes. Inquiring minds want to know.

With that said, I'm sure most don;t have many options this week. lol

I'd love to see who folks would be starting him over.
James Conner(IR), Kyren Williams(out), Dameon Pierce(bye), & Miles Sanders(bye). Nothing available on the wire.

Bleacher Report’s Jordan Schultz reports Packers RB AJ Dillon (groin) is expected to play Thanksgiving against the Lions.

Dillon was listed as questionable by the Packers due to a groin injury. He logged limited practices this week, and with Aaron Jones out, Dillon is slated to be the lead back. He has been an average runner at best this season, making him an RB3 against the Lions. Patrick Taylor and James Robinson will back Dillon up.

A.J. Dillon DNP Wednesday Groin
Aaron Jones trending out again
Patrick Taylor would be the next man up/left standing.

Just picked him up in both my leagues...one of my favorite parts of fantasy is the miscellaneous players that end up on your roster at the end of the season after thinking you had the perfect roster in August/September.
