CBS Sportsline is reporting that he is active.Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw (ankle) was activated for Week 5 at Houston. He had been listed as questionable on the injury report and was considered to be a game-time decision. Bradshaw returned to practice Friday on a limited basis after missing two straight days of workouts, but had vowed he would play.(Updated 10/10/2010).AnalysisBradshaw carried the ball 23 times for 129 yards and a touchdown in a 17-3 win against the Bears in Week 4, but tweaked his ankle in the victory. Houston is allowing RBs to average 18.5 Fantasy points per week, which is the eighth highest total in the NFL. So it goes without saying that with Bradshaw rushing for 382 yards with three touchdowns through the first four games that he would be a must-start Fantasy option against Houston now that he is in the active lineup.

From NJ.com

The Giants' PR staff says the only lineup changes are Bear Pascoe at fullback and Clint Sintim at strong-side linebacker. That would indicate Phillips will start. Deon Grant will certainly be involved and ready to jump in for Phillips if he tweaks his knee. Brian Jackson is active and will serve as the fourth safety.

Defensive end Osi Umenyiora (knee) and running back Ahmad Bradshaw (ankle) are also active. Both were listed as questionable but expected to play. Same with Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson (ankle), running back Derrick Ward (ribs) and defensive end Mario Williams (groin). All three were questionable in designation only; there was never much of a doubt they'd play
So it looks like Bradshaw will play but Hedgecock isn't so TE Bear Pascoe will be at FB

what a mess...offensive line is all banged up...no legit FB...going against the worst pass defense (Houston)...Bradshaw isn't 100%...houstons good against the run....might wanna look elsewhere today

Giants inactive players (from the same link as above)

CB D.J. Johnson

FB Madison Hedgecock (hamstring)

LB Keith Bulluck (toe)

LB Phillip Dillard

C Shaun O'Hara (ankle)

OL William Beatty (foot)

WR Victor Cruz

DE Mathias Kiwanuka

Have we actually heard that he's starting? There could be quite a difference between being on the active roster and starting.

The bigger question is how effective can he be. The Texans have one of the top rushing defenses.
Just like the Bears were the top rushing defense before Bradshaw faced them...HOU has played:Indy (terrible at rushing, plus behind early)Dallas (o Line was/is a mess, they haven't run on anyone else either)Oakland (McFadden got hurt during the game)Washington (Portis ineffective all year, Torain was on PS still)Houston hasn't played anyone who can actually run yet, of course they look like a strong rush defense.

No concerns from beat writer Mike Garafolo, he mainly been tweeting about Phillips. No news is good news.

I have been watching the Giants/Texans pre game and they haven't mentioned anything about Bradshaw not starting

Also I haven't seen any tweets from Garafolo or Vaccihiano
