Yes, please
NewOrleans.com's Nick Underhill said the Saints' signing of Mark Ingram will allow the team to "move [Alvin] Kamara around the field, and get him some looks as an outside wide receiver and from the slot."
Alvin Kamara rushed 13 times for 50 yards and a touchdown in the Saints' Week 9 loss to the Falcons, adding four receptions for 54 additional yards.
With Jameis Winston on injured reserve and Mark Ingram mixing in for 14 handles, Kamara's 17 touches were his fewest since Week 2, and second fewest of the season. He still managed to find the end zone for the fifth time in four games after being held two two scores across his first four contests. Ingram is clearly going to be vacuuming up more work than the blank space that had been behind Kamara on the depth chart before Ingram's arrival, but this is still an attack where 15 is probably Kamara's absolute touch floor, and 20-plus is not only a realistic weekly goal, but expectation. The Titans and their decent run defense are on tap for Week 10.

Please link these rumors, I have not seen anything so far.Anyone else hearing whispers Kamara might be injured and possibly out for week 10?

Saints tried out three running backs today. Have been hearing whispers that Kamara might have gotten a little banged up on Sunday. Something to monitor this week.

Remember, too, a month ago when the Saints signed Lamar Miller? Miller's still on the practice squad, but apparently he's not ready for actionIs it possible that bringing in and working out 3 RBs has more to do with Ingram's injury than Kamara?
- What went practically unnoticed in the ATL @ NO game was that Mark Ingram was pulled early, after nine carries averaging 4.8 yards per. Nothing was made of an Ingram injury during the broadcast. Sean Payton can be cagey like that with injuries -- you hear nothing during the game or immediately afterward, and then by mid-week you find out someone we all thought was OK will actually miss time.
Can't find anyone else reporting anything like this, so I'm skeptical until I see additional sources#Saints RB Alvin Kamara is dealing with a mild high-ankle sprain. He was already falling toward the side he injured. Therefore I believe he suffered a Grade 1 sprain, RTP typically 2-3 weeks. Because he returned to the game this timeline is a little aggressive. Chance to play.
banged up might be worse over the home stretch. The only time in AK's career he wasn't really effective is when he came back from injury in 2019. I am very nervous and, if he is banged up, I hope he takes a week or two to heal up.KingPrawn said:There is a difference between "banged up" and "miss week 10". I haven't seen anything about missing week 10
Yep, way too much smoke here to be no fire.I'd think there is a practice report to be communicated any second here. Probably by that same guy who reported the "banged up" bit.
Alvin Kamara (knee) is not practicing Wednesday.
Per ace beat reporter Nick Underhill, Kamara is believed to be "day to day," but there's a chance he could miss Week 10 against the Titans. If Kamara can't play, Mark Ingram would immediately slide in as a fantasy must-start RB2. This offense is RB-oriented, and now more than ever following the Jameis Winston torn ACL.

Alvin Kamara (knee) remained sidelined at Thursday's practice.
Kamara is the kind of veteran who could play without practicing, but back-to-back DNPs puts him firmly on the wrong side of questionable. The Saints are arguably the league's most opaque team when it comes to injury information, so even another DNP on Friday could earn Kamara a "questionable" tag on the final injury report. The Saints are headed on the road for Sunday's game against the Titans, so if we don't know Kamara's status by Friday, we will get a clue when the team flight departs on Saturday. Fantasy managers should be proceeding as if Mark Ingram will be starting in Nashville. Nick Underhill reports that, as of Thursday afternoon, it "seems unlikely from what I'm hearing" that Kamara would play without practicing.

why bother then? give him a couple of weeks off to heal up.Probably not. And if he does, it would likely be on a pitch count.
Alvin Kamara (knee) remained sidelined at Friday's practice.
"Not expecting Kamara to play in this one," Saints beat Nick Underhill added. Mark Ingram has averaged 11 touches in his last two games since reuniting with Sean Payton and would simply carry the load as a touch-based RB1 opposite Tennessee if/when Kamara is eventually ruled out.

hopefully some info today/tomorrow. I have him on my dynasty roster and our trade deadline is tomorrow ! His availability will kind of dictate whether I buy or sell so the lack of info is maddeningYeah, I'm getting projections ranging from 20 points to 0, not really helpful. Would take Kamara on a pitch count over Mike Davis
Hes back at practice todaySaints aren’t good with these updates? Got to be a bear reporter that puts out updates.
Take it to the venting threadI passed on dropping Ingram for D'onte Foreman on the hopes that Kamara would struggle with the knee this week. Then my brother who I'm facing this week picked up D'onte Foreman. So I hate to say it but I'm rooting against him getting cleared and being his normal self. Also, screw this year.

Alvin Kamara was not at practice for the Saints today after being limited on Wednesday. This is obviously not a good development as the running back works his way back from an MCL sprain. What does it mean? We cover that and more on The Dot presented by Matt Bowers Auto Group.
Now I'm stuck with either AP or Moss.He is going to be out for sure...
