RB Bijan Robinson, ATL (5 Viewers)

4 straight 20 pt ppr games and I guess the haters have stopped hating. Ha ha
18-24-20-26 touches per game over that stretch
347 yds rushing on almost 70 carries, decent yd per rush but needs a lot of volume to produce, luckily the Falcons have been winning football games, lot of opp to run clock
The Falcons are not charging down the field with Bijan, they sorta matriculate the ball slowly down the field setting up play action for Cousins
He's been on pace of late for about 70 catches this season, there are some challenges at Receiver for Atlanta, Bijan investors happy to see him gobble up catches

Not many starting RBs that see 20+ touches a game every week, maybe that keeps up
Have had him both seasons in Redraft, won't likely be investing a 3rd season next year but we'll see on Draft night
Feels like he should have a lot more chunk plays than he does
He’s averaging 5.1 ypc the past 4 weeks, on 17 carries per game. Also 20 catches for 152 yards over that same 4-game span.
I was trying to be a hater
High Volume RB, not likely to break many chunk plays, that's how I would describe him.
This won't be sustainable and the Falcons are not going 12-5
If he wasn't catching 7 passes per game which fills in for his lack of TDs most weeks...

-In Redraft leagues it might be a great time to trade him, depends on your POV

I agree with you, which is why I've tried many times this season to trade Bijan away for a top 5 WR, unsuccessfully. Bijan is merely an above-average to good RB, and not the generational talent he was billed as before the draft. But I'm stuck with him, so I choose to view the situation with an optimistic lens. He gets ~20-25 touches a game and 20+ fantasy points the past couple of weeks without scoring a touchdown, which means positive touchdown regression is possible, and if that happens, then we haven't yet seen his ceiling. The fantasy playoff schedule is pretty soft, and if anything happens to Allgeier (God forbid, right?), we might see him get every goal line touch and level up for fantasy.

He scored 246 fantasy points last year in PPR.

He’s got 190 already this season with 7 games to go. And a bye.

He’s really come on strong and I hope they keep feeding him.

He’s caught 41/46 balls thrown his way for 331 yards. Not to get greedy, but I’d love to see more of that as it seems to be working.

3/3 last week. Give us more Kirk!

honestly the only reason hes not putting up the numbers you wanna see is because they have another RB on the team who is capable of starting on a number of teams in the NFL.

so there is no need to overwork him early in his career. might as well share the load for as long as they can get away with it and when Allgeier is no longer on a rookie contract, they can move on from him and run Bijan harder.

when the chips are down and the game is on the line, Bijan is still the guy. But the Team doesnt care about your fantasy team. they look out for their own best interests in both the short and the long term, and part of a RB's prospects for long term Longevity is a reasonable workload. King Henry may have had a lot of carries in the last few years, but early in his career, he didnt. And the stats show RB's hit the wall around 30 but its also a function of # of carries over the course of a career as well. and since they do have another capable RB they are managing the workload while they can. I do not blame them. This is just smart asset management Because Bijan has a lot of games ahead still and they want to preserve the asset as long as they can.

from some 🚀 the last 3-4-5 weeks and we're back to :coffee:
Falcons were a complete disaster today as a whole.
Koo lost the game I guess last week and weren't they 6-2 at one point?
Saints last week with an interim HC that was the special teams coach
Dallas 27-21 at home :coffee:
Spanked 34-14 to Seattle at home a few weeks back
Fallen from 6-2 to 6-4 with no end in sight
The whole thing is underwhelming and Cousins hols this offense back

Bijan is a freak, man. I had Daniels and my opponent had Bijan + ASB. I was up 30 but thought I was totally screwed after Jayden had like 9 points at half and Bijan had almost 20.

Thank god the winds changed and the Commanders ate up most of the clock + Jayden went super man mode.
