I gotta be honest, I want to like this guy, but his personality just annoys the heck out of me. I could see his teammates getting annoyed with him too.

He brings grit,fire and attitude. Something the Giants sorely lack I'll take a spoonful of annoyance.
Just talked to my new neighbor who moved from Arizona and saw him play several times in college. Mentioned I was a Giants fan. New neighbor said "Congratulations,your team just got a stud running back who will prove to be a steal"

Funny I'd phrase it as the opposite of slept on, one of the most hyped 4th round RB's I can recall in dynasty that's for sure.

This is an interesting take from a Deebo fan. Skatt runs hard and has only Tracy as competition. Tracy is a good athlete, but he's green. There's upside here if he's given the opportunity.

Clearly less valuable? I mean sure that's what the adp says. There's always players hyped up beyond what they should be, alot of times its runningbacks. People seem to forget Shattebo and Tuten were drafted in the 4rh round irl. Coming from an unabashed draft capital snob - thats me - give me a 2nd round irl tight end every single day.
Not sure you are properly characterizing my thoughts on Deebo but just the same I don't understand what he has to do with my post?

I was going back through Deebo's thread, and your name is littered throughout the last few pages. I popped in here and saw your post about Skatt being too hyped. He and Deebo are bowling balls! How can you love one and not the other? The NYG depth chart is wide open and ripe for the taking. I like Skattebo's chances if he's given an opportunity.
I do like Deebo, not hardcore on him and or that much higher then consensus, his limitations against man coverage require him to schemed and his battles with weight are issues. I think most of the things I said I on him are I don't think he's washed and like the landing spot and commitment the Commanders have shown him. I think we've debated previously on him that I've always viewed his usage as overblown in terms of him the wear and tear or injury risk because it's not a lot of carries, like 3'ish a game. When he gets more then that it's generally been my least favorite usage for him as it's usually comes out of neccessity and leads to a reduction in receptions.
I did not say Skatt was to hyped. I said he was getting more hype then any 4th round RB I can ever recall and thus was the opposite of getting slept on.
Though I did not say or imply it I am lower then consensus on Skatt I would say I am. I'm not cocksure on this, I can see where I'd be wrong, but my main issue on him is I have reservations about a 22.5 year old breakout who was bowling over a bunch of younger players in weak conference and how that translates to tryng to do that week in and week out in NFL. The Texas game was huge though and that game is what gives me doubts about doubting him.
But in summary my point in my comment was about he's more hyped then any 4th round RB I can recall.
But here I'd turn it back on you, lol. If you are concerned about Deebo staying healthy about being a bowling ball on 3 carries a game how can you not have those concerns with Skatt?
