RB J.K. Dobbins, Free Agent (2 Viewers)

For what it's worth:

Nothing against Morse, who’s all over Twitter, but he’s kind of a quack.
He sure is, but sometimes he nails it.
Yeah I don’t mind him at all. Free content and learn a bit here and there.
Ya I don't mind him. People just need to realize he is simply using his knowledge and watching what we see. He doesn't have access to the patient, scans, vitals or anything. He is using his eyes and making a guess. I accept his guess is better then mine which is why I don't mind his posts.

That would be all well and good if his content wasn’t so cringe all the time.

To be fair…. I haven’t watched any of his links in years because he always used to annoy the hell out of me. So maybe he changed his delivery.

A part of me hopes Jim is doing the college coach thing (or the Belicheck thing) of just not sharing injury news when you don't have to. Michigan typically kept that info close to the vest while he was there.

“#Chargers standout RB JK Dobbins suffered a knee sprain in Monday’s game that will cause him to miss some time, sources say.

He’s out this week against the #Falcons and up in the air after that. Gus Edwards is his backup.”

Knee injuries are never good. He had a good run this fantasy season. Time to drop him.
I'm going to wait to hear more info before dropping him. Could be just a week or two injury and still could be an option for the fantasy playoffs.
highly doubt he’s available the next 2-3 games, at the least…feel bad for the kid…i do think Gus is a great start this week against the below average Falcon D

28 seconds agoLos Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins (knee) has been diagnosed with a knee sprain, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. He has been ruled out for Week 13 against the Atlanta Falcons and could miss additional time, too. It's crushing news for the veteran running back who was in the midst of a potential Comeback Player of the Year campaign. Numerous injuries held Dobbins to just nine games over the three previous seasons, and he was already at 11 games played when he picked up his latest injury on Monday night. The 25-year-old has been a fringe top-12 fantasy running back this season and will return to the starting role once he's healthy again. In the meantime, Gus Edwards will step up as the leader within Los Angeles' backfield.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller

It's an MCL sprain. These are usually 1-3 weeks as long as it's of the mild variety. I'm 100% holding for the fantasy playoffs.
Glad to hear it's not serious. Guy has worked so hard to bounce back from some pretty horrible injuries. Another major injury would have been a true suckfest.

Agreed - hope he can come back soon, but have to be concerned about his effectiveness when he does given yet another ding to one of his knees.

I wonder if it’s the same knee he tore up a couple of years ago.

Could have swore I heard it was, just do not have a link.

Been trying to trade him all season in a redraft. Unsuccessful. Everyone knew better and I’m stuck holding the bag. Hopefully just a week injury but no news.
Offered McLaurin for him in redraft last week and was rejected. I get the why of it, I really do, I made the offer for a reason. But, I do think it was a fair offer. Dobbins has been having a nice season at a premium position.

The only league I have Dobby is a no trade league (FBG league) but in redraft I’d have kept him over Mclaurin. Dynasty it’s easily Mclaurin.

For leagues without IR (like FBG Home Leagues) are you holding Dobbins?
Contemplating that now. He’s back week 17 so unless you plan on using him in the championship, I don’t see the need to hold. Question is if we think he would even have a full load his first week back.

Same here. Waiver wire is pretty barren in the large roster FBG leagues, so I know it really depends on what’s on the waiver wire in each league.

For me, it’s dart throws like Estime or Wright.

Any news? If he’s activated then do we start him.
Other than JK my choices in my PPR Championship are:

Vidal @ NE
Spears @ Jax
Stevenson vs LAC
Guerendo vs DET

I'm currently debating between Spears and Guerendo. If JK is a full participant in practice today it will be a tough decision.

I think Dobbins is going to get a lot of touches in a good matchup. Vidal wasn't used much with Gus and I don't see that changing unless they want to take it easy on J.K. in his first game back.

Run JK Run! Playing on a 1-year $1.6 mil prove it contract.

Think he will give maximum effort and happy to have him on 2 teams in the finals.
