Wrong. Try againLol ... really?
Cook was largely a late 1st rounder, while Mixon was going in the second.
bad drafting by you, if you took him over Cook.

Bengals OL injury issues had an addition. LT Andre Smith, who's filling in for Cordy Glenn who's in concussion protocol, missed Wed. practice w/a groin injury. If he can't go Sunday, the left side of OL will be manned by 2 new players in comparison to last week. #Bills #CINvsBUF

#Bengals backfield already averages the fewest YPA before getting hit (-0.10). A further detriment for Joe Mixon and Gio Bernard here.
Many had them as a coin flip in the leagues I was in some, Mixon first. Some Cook. All around the 14-18 range.Wrong. Try again
Yahoo had Mixon over Cook. If it was start of the season I would have said Mixon was the safer pick and Cook was the boom/bust.Man had them as a coin flip in the leagues I was in some, Mixon first. Some Cook. All around the 14-18 range.
I think the preseason worries of his OL were legit. So far I am concernedDud of the year so far.
is anyone selling? he was a mid to high 2nd rounder by all accounts. He is a fine buy low candidate right now, but if you wait one more week (BUF should hold him in check), he will be an even better option.
You said he was a mid to high 2nd rounder. His OL has stunk it up, and consequently Mixon has paid the price (17 for 27 yards). And now you wouldn't sell him for less than a top 10 price? I am confused - how has his value increased over the first 2 games?is anyone selling? he was a mid to high 2nd rounder by all accounts.
In dynasty you might catch someone selling but I wouldn't unless it was for a top 10 price

I tried to buy in a standard scoring keeper league. Offered Cooks and White, but got rejected.is anyone selling? he was a mid to high 2nd rounder by all accounts.

Pick the player on the better offense when it's close. More scoring chancesMany had them as a coin flip in the leagues I was in some, Mixon first. Some Cook. All around the 14-18 range.
Lol what am I wrong about? Yes, Cook and Mixon were close in ADP ... but Cook was drafted higher - everywhere. And if I had the choice between the 2? I’d have gone Cook ... as would any newb with a printed out draft sheet.Wrong. Try again
this is incorrect. FBG consensus ADP has Mixon just above Cook.Lol what am I wrong about? Yes, Cook and Mixon were close in ADP ... but Cook was drafted higher - everywhere.
That’s fine ... but I don’t follow FBG ADP.this is incorrect. FBG consensus ADP has Mixon just above Cook.
Well, then you cant accurately state that Cook went before Mixon everywhereThat’s fine ... but I don’t follow FBG ADP.
Actually don’t follow any of the content here, I prefer the forums. That’s it.
I roll with fantasy pros for my ADP for the most part.
OKWell, then you cant accurately state that Cook went before Mixon everywhere

Cook is going 1.07 (#5 running back) and Mixon is going 2.05Biabreakable said:While I think Cook and Mixon have been very close to the same value in terms of ADP for a long time, I do think there is a bit of recency bias in terms of their relative ADP which has changed in favor of Cook over the last month.
When looking at ADP in July or August I pretty consistently saw Mixon ranked ahead of Cook, although only be a few spots.
Too much time has passed for me to demonstrate this well, but yes Mixon did have higher ADP than Cook did and reasonably so considering Cooks injury history.
You can see that Cooks value began to spike late August here unfortunately these charts do not go back more than one month.
There is a thread and discussion about Cooks ADP in this forum which began around the time of this rise in ADP for Cook. It was about player 20 using whatever source of ADP you like and a couple spots below Mixon.

FBGs ADP uses the same sources so would be pretty much the same data.
The discussion was about pre-season though. And Mixon was ahead of Cook via just about every ADP list out there, and every draft I was in except the ones where I took Cook first (I am a noted Cook apologist and Mixon doubter).Cook is going 1.07 (#5 running back) and Mixon is going 2.05
I use Fantasy Calculator it’s updated throughout the day so it’s the most current.

Yes Sir, gotcha. I took Cook 1st as well but took Mixon in the 3rd.The discussion was about pre-season though. And Mixon was ahead of Cook via just about every ADP list out there, and every draft I was in except the ones where I took Cook first (I am a noted Cook apologist and Mixon doubter).
Joe Mixon rushed 15 times for 61 yards and caught two passes for 34 yards and a touchdown in Week 3 against Buffalo.
Mixon got off to another slow start, but came alive in the pass game in the second half. The Bengals makeshift offensive line hasn't created much running room for Mixon, who had his longest rush of the year on a 14-yard run. Mixon's touchdown was an easy throw from Andy Dalton to the flats that the Bills left wide open. Mixon has major gamescript concerns on a winless Bengals team, but this was a step in the right direction. Mixon will be a back-end RB2 for Week 4 against the Steelers.

I traded him earlier in the week. Don't regret it.I'm starting to question whether I'm going to start this guy moving forward.
Joe Mixon rushed 15 times for 62 yards and caught 4-of-5 targets for just one yard in the Bengals' Week 4 loss to the Steelers.
Mixon has no chance behind this offensive line. His rushing numbers have plummeted from his strong finish to last season when Mixon led the AFC in rushing. It's not happening this year. Mixon is heavily dependent on touchdowns at this points as a back-end RB2. He does draw a plus matchup against the Cardinals in Cincinnati for Week 5.

One of the things i loved about him coming out was that he was a great receiver. I don’t get why they aren’t throwing him the ball.
I doubt that will work. Better to have Mixon and most of the carries than Ekeler and a few of the carries.Just offered Ekeler for him in dynasty. Fingers crossed.
There's a contingent that thinks that ekeler is the long term answer for the charges. Gordon sucking has ekeler worth a late first in their eyes.I doubt that will work. Better to have Mixon and most of the carries than Ekeler and a few of the carries.
