I hope he doesn't go to Miami. Potential cap casualties next year and savings include X ($18M), Ogbah (sure thing at $10M) ), Baker ($10M) , Cedric Wilson (done at $7M). Plus JT would count big vs the cap. How can you replace a starting CB and LBB and more with little cap space and only a 1st, and no 2nd, 3rd, or 4th round pick. Keep the 2nd and roll with Mostert, Achane. Ahmed, & Brooks who combined might be better at receiving and short yardage than JT.

If you win the Superbowl this season I think the fans will be fine.

Maybe they’ll go full Rams mode and mortgage the next decade on one shot at the Lombardi now.

I agree with the RBs are less important vibe, but this is always thru the lens of Super Bowl teams. Oh, look at Eagles, and Pats many years.

But if you are NOT a team with a great defense and QB, I dunno, maybe having one of the best backs in the league is a good idea.

Today is deadline day for Colts RB Jonathan Taylor to find a trade partner. While there are interested teams sources tell

While technically true, it's highly unlikely that some team is going to swoop in at the final hour and blow the Colts (and JT) away with an offer.

I think he's rolling with the ankle and not the back because the Colts are maybe trying to say the back injury happened away from the team so if that's why he can't play they don't need to pay him.

The deadline is self-imposed by the Colts and I believe has to do with the PUP. If you are still on it after today, you have to stay on it the first 4 weeks.

Despite the Colts deadline for sure I think up until the actual trade deadline as long as he's still a Colt and has not signed an extension a trade could go down.

I was just pointing out that the deadline wasn't arbitrary at all, it coincided with other deadlines. At some point teams need to try to put aside the distractions and focus on the season, today seems as good a day as any.

I'd be a little shocked as a lot of that money is going to go to extending Joe Burrow and probably Tee Higgins. Both of which are much bigger priorities than getting Taylor would be.

I see no correlation. Miami was never going to keep 5 RBs, and Gaskin was behind Mostert, Wilson, Achane and Ahmed. If they dump Jeff Wilson then we can give it some weight.

I think its less than 50-50 he actually gets dealt. He's playing week 1 regardless, so I still think its crazy he's falling out of top-25 picks in drafts. Dude has 0 leverage.
