RB Jonathan Taylor, IND (1 Viewer)

I can’t imagine benching JTaylor unless you’ve got a slew of better options.
Less than 9 PPR points three out of the last four weeks, I’d say he’s far from a must-start.
Double digit pts in the previous 5 games with 3 hundred yard games and 5 tds. Just saying. I get what people are saying. I do. I'm just saying his proven production is super hard to bench. I'm just surprised people have been.

It’s the complete lack of passing game work that’s killing him. He’s their most explosive player, it’s criminal that they don’t get him the ball in space.

he has either 100 yards rushing or a TD in 6 of 9 games.
All three of those games occured over their last four games played. He hasn't scored a touchdown in the last four games either.

That feels like a trend.

He has matchups @ NE (#18 v RBs), bye, @ Den (#6), v Ten (#8) & @ NYG (#30).

He's on the table next week as a starter but even that feels a little like a trap game for Indy. Hell even the Giants game is a questionable start if he keeps ####### the bed between here & there.

Add in the fact that a lot of people like me took JT ahead of Saquon & Henry and it adds an emotional element to watching them succeed and JT not succeed.

His 17 game pace is 1,500 & 9, which is nice, not great particularly considering his draft position, but, he's missed most of three games so his actual pace, assuming he doesn't miss any more time is closer to 1,365 & 8. That isn't a great consolation prize considering his draft value.

He needs to go on a legit tear over the next six five to not be considered anything but a disappointment. And even if he does many of us will have him in our bench for most of that because of what has come before.

Again, put him on a team that could actually get/sustain a lead and he's an automatic 100+ per week. It's a shame he's in that situation as fantasy owners.

Were people really expecting anything with AR under center and against the Lions? A few catches would definitely have been nice but they are the #2 team against opposing RB's in fantasy.

This coaching staff and AR need to go though for JT to not be a roll of the dice most weeks.

I was expecting more than 11 touches. That's unacceptable.

No targets is criminal, and someone should lose their job
He hasn't seen a lot of targets in general this season compared to what I remember him getting in the past.
He’s never been much of a pass catcher. His most receptions in a season was in by far his best year ever in 2021 and he had 40 catches then.

Now he’s playing with a QB who likes to take off and run instead of checking it down and poaches his rushing score opportunities.

Not great.

I remember him getting 6-7 catches in years past, but he hasn't had more than 4 targets this season. Not saying he has ever been prolific in the passing game, but I would think the Colts would be trying to devise ways to get their best playmaker the ball.

That's the kind of game we need from JT more consistently! 25 rushers, 96 yards, 1 TD and a reception. I wish Richardson wasn't a vulture for goal line TDs however.

Agreed. He wants to be the hero, and it's frustrating because that's how he gets injured.

Urg starting JT vs. Denver sure is scary. He's in my flex atm over guys like Thielend and Jayden Reed (0.5).

Am I dumb keeping him in?
PPR?

I could make an argument for Thielen but, no I would keep JT in my lineup personally.
0.5 PPR.

I would go with the guy who has the higher ceiling - if JT is in your flex... I think you are in a better spot than most.
I have Achane and Chase Brown locked in as my RBs. Flex is more flexible but it's do or die now, I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

Oh, you're definitely missing something. Unfortunately none of us has any idea what that could possibly be.

I think you have to, at least he’s getting all the carries.

I'm in the same boat

I could roll out taylor or Sutton in the same game but just because of the opportunities I feel like it has to be taylor
Sutton is getting a ton of opportunities too. 10 targets for a WR is true capital "A", Alpha volume. Even better that he's catchins 7 for 95 with 0.5 TDs per game over his last six games.

ATM I personally have Sutton in over Taylor.

Upside is definitely Sutton, I’m playing his props.
