The days of Walker getting a +80% snap share like he was in October are done. When Walker is healthy it will go right back to where it was.
He doesn't need 80%. 60-65% will be fine. The days of Walker getting a +80% snap share like he was in October are done. When Walker is healthy it will go right back to where it was.
My guess is he has had these issues for weeks. Would explain his recent struggles. Let him get to 100% and ride Charbonnet until then.I heard yesterday they were getting more info/intel on his calf (That doesn't sound like a good sign) to me.
What a conundrum it will be if he's active but we are not sure he's fully healthy and I mean for both Walker and Charbs owners and those with both of them of which I fall under every category I just listed.Coach McDonald it's nothing serious and he's day to day. Not sure I believe him but we'll see how the week goes.

It really doesn’t matter about Walker if you have to choose between Javante Williams and Jaylen Warren and Charbonnet. You play Charbonnet anyway.Just have to wait till game time if you own both and guess which one will get more work.
I think people forget sometimes they have nearly equal draft capital.Charbs is doing the job they brought him in to do. Suspect that KW sits one more week to get to 100%.

at what point does draft capital no longer have meaning?I think people forget sometimes they have nearly equal draft capital.Charbs is doing the job they brought him in to do. Suspect that KW sits one more week to get to 100%.
Not close? I’m a massive Walker fan with a dynasty share and zero shares of Charbonnet, but wake me up when the former has a 41 point fantasy week.I think people forget sometimes they have nearly equal draft capital.Charbs is doing the job they brought him in to do. We’ve been over this ad nauseam. K9 is the better back when healthy and it’s not that close. You could have an argument for availability being more important but imo, teams will alway take the guy with the higher upside.

I wonder how much of the current "more touches" to KW is his contract is up after 2025 and "use him while available" mindset. The RB Turnover is wild in NFL with rookies coming in and the FA Market (yes, this is a down year compared to last year's major flux).KWII is clearly the more explosive RB. I think we can all agree on that. That trait does not make him the better RB. I like them both quite a bit. Seattle has consistently given KWII more touches than Charbs, so they believe he's the better RB for what they are trying to do. And what they believe is what matters.
Looks like a fair situation to me. Charbonnet is very likely to be the guy, but just in case you have the announced starter at home against the Falcons. You could do worse.Crappy part is its a SNF kick
and my alternate options from Charbs are Bucky (highly Q) and Sincere (at least he plays MNF haha)
Walker is the superior athlete and a legit threat to go the distance every carry. But when you have an opposing D in an actual game manhandling your offensive line it gets ugly. Like I said I think it's a mental issue at this point. At the beginning of the season Walker was taking the handoff and exploding vertically. A few games of getting blasted behind the line and he starts taking handoffs and going horizontality trying to make something out of nothing. If he had patience and stayed on his early season form he'd probably wind up breaking free a few times a game.Ugh. Two coaching staffs have watched tape, watched practice, etc and both have stated Walker is the lead back.
This coaching staff did nothing but praise Walker all spring. How he is elite, one of the top backs in the NFL, etc.
When Walker is healthy, he is the guy. That being said, he's clearly not healthy. Hell, maybe the coaching staff was playing him over Charbonnet even while not 100% thinking he was still the better option. Who knows. Charbonnet was drafted to be the backup. He plays that part beautifully. Sit Walker until he is healthy.

Watch some MSU games. Watch the Michigan - MSU game at least.I don't watch college football, so its always fun seeing these obvious college comps live on throughout a guy's NFL Career. I like Walker. I don't think as a FF back, he is really all that much better than the guy behind him. Esp when the stats and metrics show it at least this year.
Sure he is a timed superior athlete etc, does he have superior vision tho? Reminds me of the Christine Michael debates from years ago
Well I guess my point is haha I'm not going to go watch college tape now either. I watch NFL tape though. You can see obviously he is a faster dude. Charbs looks like he see's the field about as well or better. I got Charbs in a couple leagues, have started him the weeks Walker has been out and have been happy with the production. Maybe Walker has been hurt all year, but some of Charbs' best games Walker isn't even close to. All good though.Watch some MSU games. Just saying Charbonnet has gone over 70 yards combined twice all year. He's had one excellent game and one good game.Well I guess my point is haha I'm not going to go watch college tape now either. You are probably more right than I am. I am just happy to own the guy when Walker goes down and he is fed and still produces at a RB1 level without question, yet somehow there seems to be this ongoing debate about who really *is* better. It seems closer in the NFL than they were prospects coming out and I still think that part still weighs heavily in people's eval is all.Just saying Charbonnet has gone over 70 yards combined twice all year. I believe Walker has done it 6 times this year including week 4 where he put up 33 fantasy points. I consider that "close".
He's also missed three games this year.
And it's not including last year where Walker had almost twice as many yards and 9 touchdowns to 1 despite missing two games.
Hopefully they just rule him out by Sunday morning and just take out any guesswork
I don’t know how anyone could have any confidence playing him either way. I guess if you didn’t have any other viable options.Hopefully they just rule him out by Sunday morning and just take out any guesswork

I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone listed as doubtful play. I may be wrongHopefully they just rule him out by Sunday morning and just take out any guesswork
