RB Kenyan Drake, Retired (5 Viewers)

Bro, the Fins simply aren't going to win this week.  No chance.
Definitely not saying I think the dolphins have a chance but I’m pretty sure no one thought the lions would beat the pats so if they do have success running the ball with Drake and I think they can, then I don’t think I’d say no chance

You literally said if they give the RBs 27-30 touches, they'll be 4-0.

I didn’t say that, that was a different poster. I’m saying there is a chance the dolphins win and get to 4-0. Following the script the lions used and getting the ground game going would be a great start and very much help them have a chance.

Ah, my bad.  Thought that was you.

I just don't think there's a chance this week. If the pat's go 1-3 they're toast. Everything is on the line for them and it's a home game.  Whens the last time they've lost 3 games in a row?  Like 20 years ago?   I just think they're going to destroy Miami.  This game is it for them.

Yeah you probably bet the Vikings and laid 17 points to Bills last week too. No way the Bills can win that game. No way in Minny. How did that turn out?

In the NFL nothing is certain. I am the one that said if they rush the ball 27-30 times (which would equate to a very good day running the football) they will be 4-0 (have a great chance to win). When they run the ball for over 100 Yards.....in the Adam Gase era....I think they are 10-1? Something really strong. Anyway. The Patriots are going to be a very difficult game. No doubt. But the Dolphins have a decent shot to make a run at them this Sunday. This is not some juggernaut Pat's team. That defense looks soft. And their offense is struggling.

But of course 1-2....at home. Backs against the wall. Tough spot for Miami. The only way they have a chance is to run Drake and Gore...... like...run them a #### ton.

Could easily happen. But also the trend says this may be the time for the reversion. 20 years......have not lost 3 in a row. Going to happen sometime.

Will be fun. As a Dolphins fan....I am giddy and hope for the best. HUGE moment for this team as well. Huge.

The last time the pats were doubted I believe was 3 or 4 years ago.  They started really slow offense.  Brady had no real weapons other than Gronk, Edelman and kenbrel Thompkins as a rookie.  I remember people were saying Brady was done.  That he looked like he was throwing lame ducks.  The it’s were done.  And the they went on an absolute tear in week 4 starting with a demolition of the bengals in Cincy.  Pretty sure they made it to the sb that year.

Never count the pats out.  They always find a way to overcome slow starts on offense and on defense.  I’d be shocked if they lost this week.  They own Miami.

Fins ran the ball 14 times last game, and three of those were Tannehill. Not a good platform for Drake to shine. It happens.

I'm going to guess that this week will end up being their season low in terms of team rushing attempts.

Still backing Drake for a solid RB2 finish in PPR. Big games will come. I don't mind Gore getting half the carries, as I don't think Drake is built for a LeVeon type of workload.

As for the Pats matchup, didn't he light them up last year? I never get too hung up on game script or matchups because the NFL is so unpredictable.

He did light them up. We need him and Gore to ball if we want to have a chance.

The Lions just tore up the Pats running the ball. Why do you think Miami isn’t going to run?

Very good shot he is featured heavily at New England. Volume type of week. He has to have a really good game for us to have any shot at winning.

Drake for the $$$ this week. LET'S GO DOLPHINS!!!

Hopefully someone will be at the game this week so we can get a reliable breakdown in this thread.

I was just offered Drake for Sony and I'm mulling it over. My league allows a cheap rookie keeper so Sony will probably win out.

yeah i’m trying to decide which one to trade. i feel like after this week michels value is gonna be through the roof or untradeable

I should have know better to invest in the "Gase Games." His usage will vary and just wait until Ballage starts getting snaps.
That is the least thing to even worry about this season. As long as Drake and Gore are healthy......he is not sniffing the field this season. Unless the Dolphins fall out of playoff contention...which right now is a distant thought with the 3-0 start.

Parker inactive. More running in the game plan???
I think the Pats will try to make the Dolphins sustain drives all game if they can.  Vary zones deep.

IF that is the case, THEN runs, short passes to the backs and slot receivers seems like the answer to bring in the 11th player.

I think he should have a good game.

This is just flat out awful. Good news is.....there could be a ton of garbage time receptions and yards for Drake......but man...the play calling in the first half was utter garbage.

With the score he should already have 5-6 receptions. Makes no sense. Should be plenty of garbage time points to go around at least

I'll believe it when I see it. He doesn't seem to factor into the gameplan at all.

He's the biggest bust of the year.
Hard to disagree through the first 3 weeks and almost 4 now. Puzzling considering how great he was last season when he got the gig.

It’s not him......it is the play calling. They are not getting him involved. Gase is puzzling me a lot with his play calling last week and now this week. I mean we were damn lucky to beat the Raiders last week. They shut downtime offense save for a few really well timed plays. The TOP was staggering at how much in favor it was for the Raiders.

Rinse and repeat this week. The offense has been dreadful today. And Gase refuses to establish a running game against a team that clearly does to have a good run defense.
