RB Rhamondre Stevenson, NE (7 Viewers)

After completely whiffing on pass block that got Mac Jones sacked, don’t think we will see him again this game.
He didn't whiff. It was a play action and by the time the game exchange occurred the guy was already by him. Noone could stop that.

When BB preaches about no days off, he means it. Patriots practiced today and  Stevenson was listed as limited with a knee injury. He was a full participant yesterday. I’m guessing he will be listed as questionable tomorrow and should play, but the beat guys had today off so hard to know what the situation is.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Rhamondre Stevenson (knee, questionable) is expected to play in Week 12 against the Titans.

Stevenson was held out of practice on Wednesday after being listed with a knee issue but he was upgraded to limited sessions on the following two days. He should play without any limitations this week. He will split New England backfield with Damien Harris but both backs should get plenty of opportunities as touchdown favorites at home. Stevenson can be trusted for FLEX-worthy numbers versus Tennessee.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (knee) is active for Week 12 against the Titans.

As is Damien Harris (neck). Neither running back's status seemed truly questionable. With the Pats operating as big home favorites vs. the injury-ruined Titans, Stevenson and Harris should both see big enough workloads to provide FLEX returns. Harris has the advantage at the goal line, Stevenson as a pass catcher. Inactive for the Pats are TE Devin Asiasi, OLB Ronnie Perkins, QB Jarrett Stidham, OT Yasir Durant and RB J.J. Taylor.

Rhamondre Stevenson rushed 24 times for 78 yards in the Patriots' Week 13 win over the Bills.

Damien Harris got the start, as expected, and Stevenson didn't get in until midway through the first half, but Harris ended up pulling his hamstring late in the second quarter, finishing with 10 carries for 111 yards and a 64-yard score. Stevenson never broke any big runs but consistently chewed up chunk gains with the Patriots calling 46 run plays to three passes on the night. The Patriots have a Week 14 bye. If Harris can't play in Week 15 at the Colts, Stevenson will again be a plug-and-play RB1.

Just last week packaged him along with M. Ingram to the Kamara owner for D. Montgomery.

Can't argue with the results, but while everyone in my league was screaming about me fleecing the Montgomery owner, I kept telling everyone Stevenson is a future stud and if Harris goes down...and he gets dinged a lot...he's a potentially a league winner.

Now I just hope the new Stevenson owner doesn't make the playoffs.

Im at the top of my league and Stevenson is on waivers. Ill have to take a chance and drop someone (Knox maybe). Cant risk getting beat by him in playoffs.

I dropped him last night 2 minutes before the game to preemptively pick up the Packers D without having to bid on them this week. Ooooops.

Hopefully Harris isn't out for an extended period.

It didn't look good to me, he tried to flip the switch and get that extra gear going on his last run and he was done for the night...now maybe he can heal in two weeks but some things are working against Harris getting a big workload in Week 15 I think and with the Pats winning last night and looking more like a potential high seed in the Playoffs, no reason to rush Harris back, they can use Stephenson and let Harris get some extra rest, they're going to need both and limit Mac Jones to under 10 passes the rest of the way.

Also (and there is no way anyone saw this coming), Brandon Bolden looks really good this year, so it is one more reason not to rush Harris back.

He was dropped last week and I scooped him up as soon as he cleared waivers. Would be quite the boon if I make the playoffs and Harris misses the game after the bye!

What do we expect from this cat moving forward? Is anyone else thinking that Harris pulling up lame with that hammy could last the rest of the cold season?

My 2 cents is similar to MoP's. The pulled up hammy for the second time in that game I do believe did not look good. Hammy's can be lingering buggers depending upon the extent of damage - figure 2 weeks minimum. And NE / Belichick won't risk not having a bell cow of sorts for the playoffs. Most likely Harris will get back in for some work in weeks 16, 17, or 18. I'm all in with Stephenson in all 3 leagues next week I do believe. In fact, he may have to sit. At least no one can play him.

Have Michel Foreman Stevenson Gordon Chubb and Gibson.

Not sure who to start.

Chubb has underperformed and list his offensive line to COVID.

Gibson I just don't trust.

If Harris out Stevenson in  Henderson out then Michel also in.

1st of all it feels like Harris might be playing and that would make for an interesting guess on the split.

2nd-Indy is not a great match up and as good as New England has been of late especially defensively, Colts are not a real good match up on paper for them to have a huge day on the ground.

Where do you rank Stephenson with guys like Miles Sanders assuming he can play, Sony Michel would be a comparable if he is starting for the Rams next week, Jeff Wilson if he steps in again, these are the type of backs I think you can compare.

I would not replace Zeke for example with Stephenson this week, think that would be a mistake.

Yep, seems to be a line for Stephenson with Harris also playing around a low end RB 2 / more Flex. I own Stephenson in all 3 leagues. So far he's on the verge but not able to start over players like Sanders, J Williams, Gordon, Harris, or even D Knox. If word on Harris playing declines, then all bets off. The two players I'm not sure about yet this week are Sanders and M Carter. If either turn healthy I have choices in filling RB 2 and Flex.

Is Jamaal Williams playing and starting this week ahead of Swift?

I suspect the Colts are probably going to smash the Pats this week. This 9-4 record is a bit of a mirage given the schedule. The Colts are a really good team. This isn't the Jets or Dolphins or Bills in a snowstorm.

Smash?  They may win but it will be a close good game

Rhamondre Stevenson is in line to start in Week 15 against the Colts.

When Harris missed Week 10 with a concussion, Stevenson handled 24 touches and totaled 114 yards and two touchdowns. The Colts have played well against the run this season, and Stevenson could be bottled up, even with a full workload. However, Stevenson ranks RB12 in NFL Next Gen's success per attempt metric and fourth in Pro Football Focus' elusive rating. He looks capable of ripping off consistent chunk gains even in a difficult matchup. Stevenson profiles as low-end RB1.

Any projections for the kid? After watching NE find success against Buff's 10 man front, I'm hopeful the running game stays on track.

I'm thinking this guy

I don't even think there's a question.

Tough matchup or not, he's going to get plenty of touches on a team that wants to run the ball. That includes looks in the passing game too.

Penny has a not so great matchup himself against LAR. And I just don't trust the SEA offense as much as NE's.

As an aside as a NE fan, I love this guy. He's got power, great running instincts, and a wiggle that Harris does not have. Think he's a future star.

Starting him in all 3 leagues.

Stevenson > Carter, J Williams, Gordon, Hubbard, Sanders, Harris (out), or even Hunt if he returns.

Semi-tough match up, but he's a bruiser.

I expect 100 total yards + and 1 TD + - 15 to 25 fantasy points in .5 ppr.
