RB Samaje Perine, KC (1 Viewer)

From Yahoo:

Is Samaje Perine playing Thursday night?

Perine was a late add to the injury report because of a finger injury, but so far there hasn't been any serious concern over him missing Thursday night's game against the Giants.

If Perine is out, Byron Marshall and LeShun Daniels Jr. would handle RB duties, with Marshall carrying some sleeper value in the favorable matchup. For now, consider Perine a must-start unless we hear more about the injury.

Any concerns, locals/Washington fans?

Are we serious? Ugh

Everything that I've read about the finger injury is that it is not considered an issue at all, though not totally sure what people are basing that on.

also, for whatever it's worth, I never remember marshall doing much notable in his preseason stints with the eagles.  Not saying that is the final word on him, just saying I don't see any specific cause for optimism about him.

Is it simply impossible that Perine winds up being a three-down back that catches four or five passes a game? I've been holding onto Ajayi in a short bench, half PPR league, but I'm half tempted to drop him and take the plunge here for a potential stud the rest of the way.
I would not be surprised to see Jamison Crowder take some of the dump offs that Thompson was getting. Could even line him up in the backfield.

LeShun Daniels and Byron Marshall both have interesting profiles to me. Obviously Marshall can catch and Daniels has a similar profile to Perine. Actually has a decent SPARQ and some decent collegiate production.

Ya, watching a little bit of these guys I have to say I’m impressed by the Redskins identifying fill ins here. Both players were also on teams I have a lot of respect for the process of in the Patriots and Eagles.

The things people worry about, lol The number of players with hurt fingers in the NFL if every team reported like the Redskins would be almost everyone. Do you think the Patriots report hurt fingers?

Who you starting him over?

Im pondering Perrine and McKinnon
I'm pondering Perrine over Jordon Howard.  I'm concerned with Phil getting ahead early and Chicago limiting Howard's carries.  Just wish Perrine was playing in an early game so we would know for sure the finger is no big deal.

Perrine is playing Thursday and Howard Sunday right?

He was my emergency pick-up last week. Couldn’t believe I was able to claim with the 11th priority.

Had a great week - and with no Chris Thompson he could be a monster tonight.
I played rivers and Gordon so far.  Pretty decent.

But went against Allen

Really hoping for 80 and a td

I’m satisfied. O line looks good and kid has burst through the hole and makes some nice jump cuts. 20+ carries and a nice YPC. Looks like the giants D cares again too, so not too shabby.

Dallas chargers and Arizona next 3. I like it.

He looks good running the ball. If Washington is smart, they will build the O around Perine rushing and play action with Cuzo to Crowder/Davis.

Back to back 100 yard rushing games. Nice schedule ahead with bell cow touches on a good offense. Barring injury this kid could be on a lot of championship teams.
