RB Ty Johnson, BUF (1 Viewer)

Feels like they're gonna trade for Drake. That would really dampen my enthusiasm here.
Yeah, I really doubt they just roll with Ty and McKissic, and some street FA. This team still has playoff aspirations, and they should, its a good team.  Drake would make a ton of sense.

I'd be curious if they could give NE a call about Damian Harris? Since he would double as a long term partner for Kerryon, and Patriots could recoup a pick after trading a 2 for Sanu, for a guy they aren't using, and obviously those two teams aren't opposed to trading.

I think they resign CJ Anderson.  He's a veteran.  Knows the playbook.  Runs in between the tackles.  Fresh legs.  He did work out recently for the Cardinals.  I wonder if the Lions reached out to him with the notion that he will get a shot as the lead dog.  Because the Cardinals just signed Alfred Blue.
Wrong Alfred. It was Morris, not that it matters too much.

This guy seems like fools gold. The Lions run game wasn't that good to begin with.
Yep.

Kerryon was barely startable in PPR and I’d argue reached bell cow status for a couple of weeks.

That being said I’ll be bidding something on Ty bc I “have to”. Just not sure how much.

How much budget is it worth spending on him in deep (22 round) leagues? Thinking quite a bit unless they immediately pick someone up.

You have 22 roster spots? He's got to be worth everything. I can't believe he's available. I am in a 12x16 and he has been added and dropped several times.

Pretty much any random player was drafted so not much to gain from the WW, but he is there. Was debating 80%, but was not sure if I am underbidding or massively overbidding.

He should have already been owned.  He has potential to get signifant passing game work in addition to a large running workload.  He might even score more points than Kerryon because they seem to like Ty in the passing game more - at least he was targeted at a higher rate.

Agreed.  Actually it's been a few years since the Lions have produced anything above a fantasy RB3.

I'm putting in a claim for Ty, but it seems mighty unlikely that he's going to be the guy to break the trend.

FTR I am tepid in my expectations for Ty. I think his floor is low as I expect some receptions, but I'm not too convinced he will be a league winner

Trading diggs to Seattle for peanuts seems like they don’t have playoff aspirations.

Harris got in for a few minutes this week, granted he was coming in garbage time off the bench and didn’t have a ton of plays but he didn’t impress me. Looked slow, ran out of bounds while they’re trying to kill clock. This team should be 4-2 if it weren’t for bad coaching and bad officiating. They aren’t though, so sell whatever makes sense and start looking forward I guess.

Agreed.  Not too many carries but likely 3-5 rec for 30 yards.  TD will be few and far between with Marvin & Hock being primary RZ.

He just want for 90% in my league. I got McKissic for 10%.

it's funny bc someone just traded for faab to grab him in one of my leagues. hope he bids it all

I have him in my main dynasty, but expecting about 10 points a game from him...

trying to shop him to the KJ owner

Don’t you think there is a reason Ajayi hasn’t played a game since October 8 and no team has signed him?
Maybe he is asking too much or maybe they are afraid of the type of injury he had.  Yesterday was the first time he even had any team visit with the Cardinals so I kind of doubt it is based on his actual knowledge of his condition.

Sure but these guys all talk with each other. It’s very possible that word is out his knee is in bad shape. Also he seemed to have some potential personality issues in Miami

Lemme tell you about that -- Gase is already having problems with players on the Jets. He's a confrontational dude in his own way. Already trashed Robby Anderson after the game against the Bills. Publicly, and without tact. And also opined before the year that he wouldn't have signed Bell if he were in charge. It's not like he just thought it -- he just said it to his ten million dollar guy.

So I can see Ajayi having problems with Gase in Miami.

Been sitting on the first WW position for a few weeks.   I need a more stable RB3 and this seems like a good gamble since Miles Sanders has been disappointing for me.    I'm climbing aboard the Ty train but not real excited about it.   Detroit is going to bring in a vet.

I agree with you. The question will be who will this vet be and also when? If it's not soon, I can't see them contributing too much this week so it should be at least one week without the vet taking carries.

Yeah Gase is a ####. I still don’t understand how he got that Jets job.

Anyone grab McKissic after they missed out? deciding on him or keeping Mattison.  I figure Mckissic doesn't offer the stand alone value.

Grabbed Drake after missing out on Ty, incase he gets traded there. McKissic has been used inventively and has done well but don’t see him getting much more than he has

Also, I'd rather have the guy who could put up HUGE numbers in the event of an injury to a player who people have labeled as injury prone. I’d keep Mattison.
Yes its a dilemma. As a Cook owner I’ve doggedly held on to Mattison on my bench.  As a Kerryon owner as well though, with other players on bye, he may have to be dropped for one round of games for some help. Newsflash - watch Cook get injured this week

Ty just went in my 12 Team PPR Dynasty....  Start season with $100 BB account

5 Bids - $16, $20, $31, $32 and the winning bid of $33!

Did the same thing. He may or may not pan out; but, there is potential there for RB2 upside with someone from the waiver wire. No brainer to take a shot IMO.

Heads up. Paul Perkins brought up from the practice squad.

Ty caught my attention early but hasn't shown much since (no Lion RBs have to be fair) but this is something to monitor.

Play both Cook and Mattison against the Redskins.  They likely will both have good games.  I wouldn't drop Mattison this week for a dart throw.....

Went for 63% in one league. Competing bid was 50%.

Fell to the 6th waiver spot in another league where you fall to the back of the line when you claim someone.
