Redman to start week 5 (2 Viewers)

Tough call. I only have Forte available this week due to byes. Picked up Redman but if Mendenhall is active, then I may pick up Ridley during the 11th hr to avoid playing 4 WRs...

So reports right now above in the pinned re: Mendenhall are ranging from him being out to him dressing but available for emergency only.

Bottom line: Who is going to roll with Redman against the tough against the run Titans? If you are starting him, who goes to the bench because he starts in your lineup?

I'm starting to shy away from Redman regardless of what Mendenhall does. It's been brutal watching the Pittsburgh offensive line get dominated all year and I don't have much faith that Redman will look better than Mendenhall has. Then there's the matchup against an up an coming defense who hasn't given up anything on the ground this year.

I have Ingram vs CAR and Tolbert vs DEN to choose from and I think I'd start either over Redman. I was initially thinking Ingram because of the success Forte had against Carolina, but I'm not sure how involved he'll be if this game turns into a shootout. I think Tolbert will be involved regardless of how the game plan goes, but he could easily end up with 40 total yards and 0 TDs . . . in fact, that sounds like a reasonable stat line for all of my options.

Well I own Mendy and Redman and have no idea which one to start now and I don't have much time to figure it out either...

Tolbert is on the bench and I'm thinking about throwing him in. If Redman and Mendy split the carries down the middle I can't see either one putting up worthwhile numbers...

Mendy will get limited touches if any in this game. Does anyone know if Dwyer is active?

i have to choose 2 from redman, ingram, manningham, and starks .5ppr

I'm starting him over Tolbert, Ingram and DeAngelo. I think he will get 15+ touches, and I'm tired of my RB2's getting 10-12 chances a game. I expect them to try to protect Ben, and one way to do that is running the ball.

Started Redman in one league over Tolbert and Deangelo Williams.

Started Redman in another league over McGahee, Deangelo Williams, Stewart, Michael Bush, Hardesty, Wayne, Meachem, and Lance Moore.

No offense to Dwyer, but that hole on the 76 yard run was HUGE. Rudi Johnson could have busted off a big gainer on that play too.

As SSOG has posted on previously, there is a difference between process and outcome. It's possible to make a good decision and get a bad result. It would have been great to start Deangelo Williams, but it was reasonable to start Redman instead. Looks like I'll win one and lose one, and the Redman decision will not be a deciding factor in the loss. I'm fine with my decision.

I wasn't rubbing it in, I started him too in the flex in one league, did not help me.
