The flag should have had no bearing on the ability to challenge.Yes and he wasted a challenge on the previous play.Question - if SJax hadn't gotten flagged, could Fisher have challenged that spot and possibly (probably) gotten the TD call?
that's a bit of a stretch. He was called down, got up and pleaded his case with the officials who said again he was down and he turned around and spiked it as though that would prove he actually scored. It was an incredibly stupid thing to do.S-Jax rushed for a TD, got up, spiked the ball, got flagged and benched. So much trash in this game.
Nope, but he may have not wanted to use another one so soon. I think he was distracted by the SJax penalty. The flag should have had no bearing on the ability to challenge.Yes and he wasted a challenge on the previous play.Question - if SJax hadn't gotten flagged, could Fisher have challenged that spot and possibly (probably) gotten the TD call?
He's been passed on the DC by richardsonis Pead really not evenclose to getting any snaps? haven't seen him last or this week...
Mike Pereira @MikePereiraNo. RT @david_mccluskey: SJAX STL spiked ball and got called for 15. What if they reviewed the play and it showed a TD. Would penalty stay? The flag should have had no bearing on the ability to challenge.Yes and he wasted a challenge on the previous play.Question - if SJax hadn't gotten flagged, could Fisher have challenged that spot and possibly (probably) gotten the TD call?
I imagine he'll decide his point has been made at halftime. How long does Fisher keep Sjax out? Didn't play a single snap on this past drive.
the challenge wasn't wasted...they reviewed it automatically....but just took a while to do it. It was an auto review so there was no need for a challenge. he threw the flag because they weren't auto reviewing it though. ultimately it was a wash - which is why Skeletor was so pissed off because throwing the flag on an unchallengeable play is a penalty. The refs knew it was their fault though so they didn't penalize the Rams. ergo, he could have challenged the play even with the penalty. I'm not sure why he didn't, other than being told it wasn't actually a TD, which it was hard to tell from the one replay we got. he did reach the ball over, but he looked down to meYes and he wasted a challenge on the previous play.Question - if SJax hadn't gotten flagged, could Fisher have challenged that spot and possibly (probably) gotten the TD call?
He actually should have been flagged for throwing a challenge flag. I thought he was still on top of someone when he reached across...the challenge wasn't wasted...they reviewed it automatically....but just took a while to do it. doghouse.WHERE IS STEVEN JACKSON?
Why? He has 9/58 so far? Is it because of the frustration spike?doghouse.WHERE IS STEVEN JACKSON?

Secondary is flat out horrible.
obviously you havent read the Richardson thread - he's better than Jackson, stop criticizing him.Richardson runs right into Deangelo hall for a 2 yard loss. Didn't even try to change direction.
He also doesn't recognize the battering ram that is DHall on run defense.obviously you havent read the Richardson thread - he's better than Jackson, stop criticizing him.Richardson runs right into Deangelo hall for a 2 yard loss. Didn't even try to change direction.
@ all the SJax owners in here.
I was ok with the replacement officials....but now they have to go@ all the SJax owners in here.
Solid. Penalty on a Te at the goalline probably cost him a td.Unable to get the game. How has Morris looked?
