Redskins at Rams (1 Viewer)

Pead in. OUCH. SJ

That just cost them as bradford throws an INT in the EZ and SJ on the sidelines.

:lmao: zoom in on Jackson who gives the 'awww, that's a shame look'.

Hard to believe Fisher is benching him for spiking the ball....
maybe Jackson said something to him.
New coaches have to make examples of players. No offense to SJax but he is in the twilight of his career. If it causes a riff in the locker room then Fisher will tell the Rams to either cut SJax or trade him for a 6th round pick to whoever wants him or whatever they can get. I can't imagine the relationship after this game is going to be smooth.

Tell me again why Danny Smith still has a job as the ST coach? 2 blocked punts in 2 weeks? Simply awful.
This guy must have good stuff on Richie Rich because this organization has done everything to erase the memory of Vinny and Danny and he has been bulletproof

I agree. I wonder if SJax and Fisher will not get along going forward...

Why doesn't jackson just walk into the locker room and undress. No point standing around.
Because he screwed up and he needs to be a team player.
His screw up cost the team nothing. Turned an 18 yard FG into a 33 yarder.I'll fully admit I'm biased and angry. I understand benching the guy for a few drives, but it looks like he'll sit out the rest of the game.
it cost them the ability to go for it on 4th and inches from the goal line. he also looked right at the ref and did it deliberately knowing he was called down. that's as insubordinate as you can get and it most definitely hurt the team.

I just don't understand what exactly that spike cost the team- the field goal was still good, and Fisher could have challenged the play if he had wanted to. Richardson did a decent job filling in but in a competitive game you should be playing your best playersEdit: Good point by MSUlions. Hadn't considered that option. You're right about that- I still think it's pretty harsh, but in that light it's a fair punishment.

That might be true. Otherwise, what a #### move to bench your best player for getting ticked off at a blown call, especially when it didn't cost your team anything.(Also, isn't spiking the ball a 5 yard delay of game, as of the rule they put in 3 years ago, or so?)
he did it AT the ref because he thought he scored...so it was a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty not delay of game. And for all we know he and Fisher haven't been getting along and he'd been warned before that. no one here knows what went on on the sideline....but it was incredibly childish and Fisher isn't the kind of coach who takes that lightly.

It wasn't a spiking call, it was unsportsmanlike. It was not a celebration.

Can't believe the refs are allowing all these hits on RG3. Late hit right in front of one, and then he gets hit after he slides. This is just sick and wrong.

Wtf is Jeff fishers problem. The best player on the team, a leader and a veteran. If the rams lose its an amazing way to alienate a fan base. Egotistical ahole
