1/25/2006 Jay Riemersma, TE (Pit) Riemersma, who hasn't played since tearing his right Achilles' tendon more than a year ago, announced Tuesday he is retiring. The former Bills' tight end joined the Steelers before the 2003 season and tore the tendon in a 17-16 win over Jacksonville on Dec. 5, 2004. Pittsburgh released the 32-year-old this past February.
