Release FBG from the FFTOC prize for our articles (1 Viewer)

Snickersnack

Footballguy
I was looking forward to the competition, as it was a big reason I entered the contest, and I need both the $30 and a shot at $250. But the format of the competition matters not at all to me, so I want Footballguys.com to feel free to consider themselves released from the FFTOC part of the prize package as it regards permission to publish my article. I trust them to come up with an acceptable alternative competition with an equally rewarding opportunity at some indeterminate future date.

I especially dont want FBG subscribers to miss out on the strategy tips in my article because of uncertainty over whether FBG can deliver the original price. Dont worry about that, Joe & David (or FBG) just publish my article as soon as convenient for you and worry about how to comp me later. I will accept whatever you choose to offer, because I know you guys take care of people and I am not worried about it...

I suggest anyone else who may be wondering if their article(s) and wisdom will get dissemninated to fellow FBGers in a timely fashion also release FBG from the original promise of an FFTOC league competition for $250 and trust them to offer an alternative later, whenever they finish fighting other fires. They aren't going to fail us, and in the meantime, the subscribers need our scholarly advice... :grad:

SO this thread is for article writers who wish to join the cause of avoiding delays to publication of our winning articles. Just post up something similar saying you release FBG from that part of the prize. They havent solicited this, nor do I know if they need it, but it seems like it cant hurt, and it just might help. Anything I can do to help...

Thanks snicker,We won't hold up anything. For the compensation, we'll find a replacement that is either just as good or more likely better value there. No worries we're in this for the long haul and the surest way to get great stuff next year is to make sure the guys this year are happy. No worries.J

Well, if I hadn't sent my only copy in, I wouldn't be sweating when its coming out...I need my own advice!

OK, I confess, I haven't waited with more eagerness than I have to see my article in FBG green with the "Exclusive to Footballguys.com..." tag since I got 1st pick in a draft for the first time after playing FF for six years.

I saw the FFTOC news and got paranoid that it might delay that glorious day when I finally see my name in FBG's lights, lol. :tinfoilhat:

I'd put Joe and David in a league to compete for $250 for a chance to get published! (Now I really AM just kidding)
