Reunion League (1 Viewer)

So, I really don't know what Grouse's strategy is.4 RBs in his first 4 picks.Back to back, backup QBs in round 12 and 13?I guess I'm posting this because I really didn't think Grouse needed Garcia after the Delhomme-Leftwich picks. And I scoured the NFL schedule to see which scrub QB had an easy game during Peyton's bye week.It was Garcia.I should be irked, because there should have been no reason that Garcia's week 6 (Manning's bye) versus the Browns shouldn't have been available to me.But, I'm not. I'm actually laughing, because Grouse's team needs help. Like a top ten D or top five K or a sleeper WR, and he goes for a 3rd QB in round 13.There must be a method to his madness.Me, whatever, I'll take the best player available to help my squad. If this was a survivor league, it'd make a lot more sense.
I'm in the same boat with Palmer, but I had chances to take another QB, and passed. Not Grouse, TL, or Shadows fault IMO. Just mine. No biggie to me either. If people want to weaken thier own teams to try and slow down some of the others, fine with me. Even though I don't subscibe to that theroy, I see why others do it.
Honestly blocking didn't enter my mind when drafting a 3rd QB. Having Eli and Favre sounds good, but I"m reminded too often that it doesn't work. I'm a big proponent of having 3 QBs in these formats when the rest of my team is formed soundly. Lately, I haven't been too successful at that, but this draft, everything seems to have went pretty well for me, of course time will tell.I too don't have any problem with the block when it pertains to QBs, but 3 Kickers or 3 Ds IMHO is just poor strategy.
I disagree with the 3rd defense strategy since I've gone this way in a few. I prefer to let the draft come to me, but I think you'll cash a lot more points with a third D than a WR that you take in the last round. Defensive scoring is very sporadic but can amount to quite a bit. We'll see how some of my earlier teams do.
Piping in from Cocoa Beach here. (which is kinda sad that I'm checking the net with a strip club a block down from my hotel...tomorrow  )I've heard that arguement before, and I tend to disagree. I agree that the 3rd D is more likely to actually score than the bottom rung WR. But when those last round WR's hit, it wins seasons for you.I'd rather have a 10% chance at a 60-90 pt increase that a sleeper WR could provide, rather than a 70% chance at 32 pts, which is all the 3rd D is probably going to be able to provide.
It definitely depends on roster size. In 20 rounders, I think it's worth a shot and could save your bacon. How many times have you been bounced from a survivor league by less than four or five points in a week. In 18s, there's probably not enough room to squeeze a 3rd one in there to offset a WR5 or WR6. But, in a 20 rounder I'd rather have a D3 than a WR7 (especially if that WR comes in the last couple of rounds). The jury is still out on this though. It's just a gut instinct at this point. I should have looked back historically in terms of how many weeks that helped the team with 2 vs. 3. I'm too lazy to do the leg work. I'd rather be doing what you're doing Darren.

This may be the kiss of death, but I like Grouse's squad.

I did not plan to get a Hasslebeck in the 7th, so I planned on 3 QBs from the start.

LOL @ the flashabck of MadViking and his 4Def squad - that was a classic

I mentioned MadViking because of the two ironies:1. He liked to draft 4 D/ST's.2. He was one of the primamry reasons we formed this H2H league. I think everyone wanted a piece of him.
One thing about MadViking that still strikes me, that I said during the draft would happen and that came to fruition is that his team lasted about half way through the season. His unconventional strategy outlasted some teams who criticized him heavily.

So, are you going 1 TE or 1 K or 1 DEF?(You really don't have to say, the supsence is not killing me)

FWIW, here's a link for you.

Final roster and self-analysis (always dangerous)

QB - Cutler (6) and Campbell (4)

RB - Bush (4), M. Barber (8), J. Jones (8), Droughns (9)

WR - Wayne (6), Houshmandzadeh (5), Bruce (9), D. Carter (7), B. Johnson (8), B. Smith (10)

TE - Winslow (7) and Troupe (4)

K - J. Brown (8) and Longwell (5)

DST - Denver (6) and Atlanta (8)

Overall Grade - B+ (but if Cutler increases production from last year signifcantly or the best ball combo works this could be low)

QB - will probably decide how well I do, but I think the pair is adequate = B-

RB - should be a strength. Bush is a ppr stud; having both Dallas RB is fine in best ball and the week Bush is off they play the Rams. Droughns could surprise or be just an occasional contributor = A-

WR - Wayne and Housh a Great pair and the others all have talent and hopefully enough opportunity. Even in the bye weeks, I get best 3 of 5 scores each week = A

TE - obviously somewhat dependent on KWII's health and the QB play of the Browns, but he was top five last year and I don't expect less. Troupe has some solid upside considering how poor the Titan's WR are = B+

K & DST - are what they are (at least no bye week issues and Broncos could be Very good) = C+

If you can't get LT, I like the 7 & 8 spots this year for great upside value in the first round and like to be in the middle and never that far away from the next pick in these drafts. Should be an interesting league. Good Luck to all

Wow, I think I just went through this whole draft presuming that we have a starting lineup. Best ball, huh? I must have missed that. Oops. My team would look a little different. Oh, well. Now Grouse's choice to go 4 str8 RBs doesn't look so bad.

:banned: Yeah, I'm an idiot.

QB: Bulger (9), T. Jackson (5)

RB: LJ (8), ADP (5), Fred Taylor (4), Kevin Faulk (10)

WR: TO (8), Randy Moss (10), Greg Jennings (7), Bobby Engram (8), Joe Jurevicius (7), Tab Perry (5), Justin Gage (4)

TE: Heath Miller (6), Marcus Pollard (8)

K: Jason Hanson (6)

D\ST: Baltimore (8), Jets (10)

QB: Hoping Bulger stays healthy and Tavaris keeps his job. B+

RB: I think ADP gets the lion's share of the work, and nearly all of the rushing TD's. If LJ doesn't hold out too long I like this group. A-

WR: A large part of my success hinges on Randy Moss. I think he turns it around in NE but who knows. The TD potential of the TO\Moss pairing is huge. Jennings if healthy comes close to Driver's numbers this year. I felt I was a little weak in week 7 and 8 so I went with a 7th WR instead of a 2nd kicker. Gage has as much chance as anyone to emerge from that group in Tennesee. B+

TE: Miller should do better than last year and Marcus is going to see some catches. Still bottom 4th of this league though. C-

K: only one, but he's in a dome for a potentially explosive offense C-

DST: 1 stud + 1 with potential. A

Overall: B+

I think I will definitely improve upon last season. If Moss doesn't return to form or LJ holds out I'm in big trouble.

I don't like the 3 spot much this year. If I can't have 1.01 or 1.02, I'd much rather have something in the 1.07-1.09 range.

QB: Roethlisberger 7.13 (6), Schaub 11.13 (10)

RB: M Lynch 3.13 (6), A Green 4.2 (10), D Foster 9.13 (7), M Pittman 17.13 (10)

WR: Holt 2.2 (9), Mark Clayton 5.13 (8), Cotchery 6.2 (10), Porter 8.2 (5), Bennett 8.2 (9), Jarrett 12.2 (7), Meacham 14.2 (4)

TE: Gates 1.13 (7), Zach Miller 15.13 (5)

K: Mike Nugent 16.2 (10)

D\ST: Packers 13.13 (7), Cardinals 18.2 (8)

Overall strategy was dictated by my drafting slot of 13. Prior to beginning I decided on my top 13. It included nine RBs, all taken in the top nine, Gates and three WRs, Chad Johnson, Steve Smith and Holt. Went with Gates first and Holt was still available with my second pick so I took him. I strongly considered McGahee and Henry, but decided with the PPR to take one of my top three at WR and hope some RBs that I liked were available in 3/4.

I almost had a nice stable to choose from, but Deuce, Caddy, and DeAngelo all went right in front of me. Went with Lynch at 3.13 because Pimpin already had a week 10 bye RB and took Green at 4.2. Considered Chambers and Calvin Johnson next, but took Mark Clayton and then Pimpin took both of my next choices so I settled for Cotchery. I really think that both he and Coles will have good years as the Jets offense and Pennington improve.

All of my targeted RBs went before my next pick at 7.13 so I went with Big Ben at QB, a guy I really like in 07. Considered grabbing my QB2 with Eli Manning, but thought that one of he, Rivers or Favre would be there next time and grabbed a guy I think is a bargain, Jerry Porter. Lots of discussion here seems that more of y'all prefer Curry, but I like Jerry Porter.

I think that Foster (9.13) is also a steal as low as he's going and was glad to get him as my RB3. Was hoping for Matt Jones (HOMER PICK), but PAE took him out from under me. I also like Bennett in St Louis this year, but might have reached a little on him at 10.2.

I think that Shadow got a bargain as low as QB Alex Smith went, but I could not take him because of bye week match with Big Ben. Pennington, Campbell, and Losman all went right ahead of me and I will hope for the best from Schaub. Took rookie Jarret next at 12.2.

QB: Big Ben and Matt Schaub, I really like Rothleisberger, but not so much with Schaub.

RB: I probably have out league's worst crop of RBs, but most all of them are good receivers and I hope that they brother-in-law enough to keep me afloat. I like the chances of both Lynch and Green to outperform their draft position, but they have to by a wide margin to prop these guys up. I think Foster will RBBC with DeAngelo, contrary to most of y'all here. I hope that Pittman keeps his 3rd down duties and has a ffew nicve games.

WR: One of the strengths of my team. If my WRs don't score very well, this team is probably dead. Holt, Mark Clayton, Cotchery, and even Porter should do very well. I'm hoping that Bennett, Jarrett, and Meacham have their big games when a few of the others has a slow day. Took seven as I believe that WR scoring is the most volatile and you count three. Also with the PPR, WRs outscore the RBs, except at the very top which I passed over.

TE: Gates has been the man in these leagues and I hope it continues. I like the opportunity for Zach Miller in the Raiders offense and thought he was nice value very late.

K: only one, but he really came on in the second half of 06.

DST: Nice pairing of Packers and Cardinals.

Others feel free to score or critique. Look forward to the comments! Enjoyed the draft and look forward to the season.

Family Matters:

QB: McNabb(5) & Rivers(7)

RB: LT(7), Morency(7), Jackson(7) & Dillon(?)

WR: R.Williams(6), Boldin(8), Glenn(8), Wade(5), C.Davis(7) & Washington(6)

TE: Davis(6) & Des. Clark(9)

PK: Vinatieri(6) & Dawson(7)

D/ST: Carolina(7) & Buff(6)

QB: I agree with many of you that McNabb may hold to the key to my teams success. I'm a little higher than most on him but I can easily see why some are down on him. Rivers should provide more than adquete insurance just in case.

B

RB: LT should make this team very competitive. The Morency/Jackson handcuff should provide reliable RB2 numbers as long as they are in the mix. Dillon may be a wasted pick so we'll see.

A

WR: Williams/Boldin/Glenn are a nice group to count on and should provide steady points all year long. The rest are just filler that might give me a couple weeks worth of help.

A

TE: Davis should be fine and Clark will give me a couple of games.

B

PK/DST: I love Adam but the rest is just something I hope can help along the way. I'm actually higher on Buff than Carolina but neither is likely to do much for me.

C

Overall I see this team as a B with some upside.

I like my chances to score pretty consistently this year w/this group, as bye week situation was spread out as well as can be expected w/current years NFL schedule...obvious glarign exception in week 6 WR situation, where I have 4 of 6 off (3 bye's + Henry suspended)---the luck of the scheduling gods needs to be on my side here

overall each group should be competitive, with none "best in the league"...

QB...I love what Vince Young can do for Tennessee---many ask 'who is he going to throw to?'

While the WR corps as the youngest in the land, I expect Tenn to be playing from behind most of the time, putting the balance of most games squarely on the back of the young QB...garbage time yardage thru the air and on ground will put this guy in the top 10---nice value @7.11

McNair is purely a b/u, and was nabbed right before Losman and Schaub...neither attractive to me as my b/u

RB...Rudi anchors a solid if unspectacular group...while he doesn't catch as many passes and many of the others, I didn't want to wait for 2.4 to get my RB1 (I was suprised only 3 went between 1.11/2.4, as the rzrback went TE/WR to start)...the rotation of Caddy/Norwood serves as a nice RB2, w/MMoore scoring w/some receptions a couple weeks for me

WR...nice solid group, but alittle thin as I went w/6 and don't have CHenry for most of the season..week 6 bye has me only scoring 2 from the position, but w/all other #1's going for me that week, hopefully we can make up for that

TE...probably the least solid unit w/Watson's situation as my TE1 totally up in the air...NE added a ton of WR talent, so even w/Graham's production now in Den, ??? all over Ben this yr

Martin had Trent Green tossing him the rock and just might suprise as we all know how Green can make a TE look pretty good

Def...I missed my targets at the top of the food chain here as Chi and Balt went pretty much where I expected them to go--I thought 8.4 was a tad early for a D, given I already had my QB1 (generally it goes D 1st, then QB for me)...SD will do me just fine, as they'll play from the lead and have ample opportunity for sacks/picks as teams try to play from behind against them

K...actually my "strongest" group as I feel Stover can push Gould as my K1 and was a super value as K14...my best chance to own the #1 scoring unit in the league

First off, I'm not going to grade my team because I don't really see the value in doing so in July. Hopefully, everbody likes their team (for the most part) at this point, considering we just finished drafting it!

I will explain my strategy of going RB-RB-RB-RB to open this draft. Every year we've done this, I've opened the draft going 3-straight running backs. Nothing new there. However, despite consistently feeling good and being deep at RB at the close of every 'best ball' draft, somehow I always seem to get into a depth problem at the position. Go figure. What I have discovered doing this 'best ball' format, is that inevitably your lens is skewed drafting in June. There is an overwhelming desire to draft the best starting lineup, and then focus on depth. I would argue, that is a strategy that will get you into trouble come November in this format. There are no injury reports in June, heck, we have barely seen these guys in pads, so inevitably you feel comfortable going into the season with 3 solid RBs. But something strange happens come September. You begin to get this sinking feeling in your stomach when you realize that the games are beginning, guys are getting banged around, and there is nothing, absolutely nothing you can do to your roster to help it. In other words, this league is a war of attrition. After watching a 3-RB strategy consistently come up short, I decided this year that I would try something different and extend it further by going 4-RB. My goal was to get 4 guys who most importantly would get the touches but who also had solid job security. In Westbrook, James, Benson and Lewis, I think I accomplished what I wanted. Will I have enough talent at WR to consolidate any gains I may have at RB is obviously the big question mark for my team. I do not have a 'proven' WR in my stable, but all of my guys have good upside and a lot to prove coming into the 2007 season. I was especially happy to get Patrick Crayton near the end of the draft. I think being the unquestioned WR3 on a team that features two 30-plus year-old WR starters is a recipe for getting some starts and being a contributor on my team. I don't think it is a question on 'if' Crayton will get starts, it's a question of 'how many'. My QBs should get the job done. Nothing sexy here, but an army of 3 QBs who are all capable of putting up solid numbers on any given week should yield competitive production at this position. The rest of my team is ok, and shouldn't win or lose me the league. Although I am intrigued with Greg Olsen. He's a real talent on a team that desperately needs him to show well. Overall, I got what I wanted in this draft. I did not succomb to 'runs' and basically drafted my own game. Now, I'm really just looking forward to see how it all plays out. And mark my words, if I run into RB depth trouble this year, you can safely assume I'm going RB-RB-RB-RB-RB in 2008 :-)

I love drafting with you guys, always competitive, and I look forward to doing it again next year.

Game on!

:goodposting:

Thanks for the info Grouse - it will be interesting as you say to see how it plays out. I can't shake my initial reaction that your team will not be as good as it woud have been had you gone RB-RB-RB-WR (swaps out Jamal Lewis for Santana Moss and then some backup/third down RB for a later receiver), but we will see.

I will say that after that start you drafted a very team - better than I thought it would be.

QB Peyton Manning IND 6

QB Damon Huard KC 8

A-: I grabbed the top QB in the league. I played the bye week with Huard, as he has the Bengals at home.

RB Shaun Alexander SEA 8

RB LaMont Jordan OAK 5

RB Kevin Jones DET 6

RB Michael Turner SD 7

RB TJ Duckett DET 6

I: I can't grade the RBs, as I have way too many question marks surrounding them. I may have too many studs or not enough. I really wanted Bush in a PPR, but had to take SAlex when he was there at #8. From what I've seen in the mock drafts, and with the NFFL on a RBBC trend, you can always find value at RB later on in the draft in '07. I picked up Jordan, who will probably see a 60/40 split in his favor at least, and KJones who if he recovers from his injury, is a steal in the 6th (when he was a late #1 in '06). Turner was a shot in the dark, and had value in the 9th. Duckett will be the goalline back if KJones doesn't come back.

WR Andre Johnson HOU 10

WR Bernard Berrian CHI 9

WR Troy Williamson MIN 5

WR Anthony Gonzales IND 6

WR Nate Burleson SEA 8

D+: This is where I screwed up. I was wondering why some teams were going 7, 8 WRs. I thought this league was a starting lineup. A 6th or 7th WR who never plays does me no good. But it's "best ball", and those WRs do play. Andre Johnson was a gift at 3.08. After that, I screwed up, picked a player who was already taken, and had to wait to select Berrian. Berrian has potential, and I'll need him to go off because TWill, AGonzo, and Burleson aren't exactly going to help out much.

TE Jeremy Shockey NYG 9

TE Daniel Graham DEN 6

A: Solid. Probably hands down the best tandem in the league. Shockey when healthy is a stud in his 3rd year with Eli. Graham wasn't paid all that money to watch Scheffler play.

DEF New England Patriots 10

DEF New Orlean Saints 4

A: NE's defense is always strong. NO is underrated. They have so many #1 or studs on their DL it's amazing. The LB's are serviceable, and they have brought in guys to try to fix that secondary.

K Nate Kaeding SD 7

K Josh Scobee JAX 4

B+: Kaeding kicks for the Super Chargers and Scobee was a darn good kicker last year.

My starting lineup is killer. My depth is shaky. I drafted thinking it was a starting lineup league. I know, I know, always know the rules before you draft. No point to the shirt excuses, my team is still solid. I can't rip apart my team, because I selected the BPA. I also cannot rip apart most of the teams, because they all look solid. Each of us probably has a glaring weakness that needs to be answered during the season. My achille's heal is my WR corp. I'll really need TWilliamson to become that #1 WR this year.

SELF ANALYSIS

Gonna agree with grouse and say that at this point, everyone should be happy with what they have (if you knew the rules  ). Sorry Pigskin, couldn't resist!

All of my other leagues are 10 team, and none start 3 WRs, or use PPR. As we go into year 3 with this group, I feel I have learned to adjust to the ebb and flow of this larger, shark infested draft; as well as to what is required to win in this scoring system.

The plan going in was to take 2RB and 3WR1s in the first 5 picks for a strong starting core, followed by 2 more RB/WR value picks in 6-7 as depth. 3 QBs in 8-10. TE, PK, D all late. I a bit shamed to say that I flinched early and broke from the plan, but I am happy with the end-results.

Note one correction on my roster, McGahee is off week 8, not 6.

QB Matt Hasselbeck SEA 8

QB Alex Smith SF 6

QB Rex Grossman CHI 9

Hass @ 7.09 was one round early, but I was shocked to find him past his ADP. He will anchor a strong group. Had my eye on Kitna until Fiddles play Draft D. Smith over McNair due to bye week conflicts with Hass, @3 ROUNDS below his ADP. Can't complain! Grossman had some big games last year, makes me more comfy with Smith, and was also @1.5 rounds below his ADP.

RB Willie Parker PIT 6

RB Willis McGahee BUF 8

RB Lendale White TEN 4

To get 2 solid starters, I had to go RB/RB. Planned to get Addai, but happy with Parker and McGahee. Both are the feature back in a run first O and neither has much competition touches. Both play on good teams, with a strong D, that play with the lead, and run out the clock. Both can catch and break the big play.

White was a spontantios pick. 3.5 rounds past his ADp, I figured I'd try a cheap handcuff of White/Brown on the turn as the RB3. MPFB trashed this plan 1 pick before it could be completed. :hophead: With that said - I still feel I have the starter and primary RB in TEN (another run team) for 2007. I should not need much from him beyond bye week fills and he was worth a gamble in at 9.09.

WR Javon Walker DEN 6

WR Deion Branch SEA 8

WR Darrell Jackson SF 6

WR Michael Jenkins ATL 8

WR Ted Ginn Jr. MIA 9

WR Devin Hester CHI 9

WR David Givens TEN 4

I wanted 3 WR1, and despite a break from my plan to grab Witten in the 5th, I got them. Walker, Branch, and DJax should put up nice points. The bye weeks are a mess - but I think I have some coverage potnetial. Jenkins is also a WR1 (IMO) who, with 8 TDs in 2006, had no business on the board in the 10th. Ginn could surprise for a 13th round gamble. Hester is fun as a 16th rounder. Givens, if healthy, should be the WR1 or 2 in TEN and could be a true steal in the 18th.

TE Jason Witten DAL 8

Made a spontanious change to the plan to take Witten in the 5th. I think getting a strong, productive TE was the right move with 2PPR. As the 8th TE off the board, I think I hit the sweet spot and got one of the last of the solid production options.

DEF Chicago Bears 9

DEF Cincinnati Bengals 5

Chicago in the 8th was WAY off plan. I did not like anyone else on the board, and here was a starter slot fill 2 rounds past their ADP. I feel good about the move. Cincy can also have big games on D and ST, and they make a solid DT2.

K Stephen Gostrowski NE 10

K Olindo Mare NO 4

2 PKs on 2 good teams with strong O. Should be fine.

GOOD LUCK ALL! CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE WEEK 1 UPDATES!

I didn't plan on going RB-RB out of the gate, but both of the Wr's I wanted (CJ, and Smith) were gone by 1.14, and at the same time, allowing for guys I thought would be gone at RB to fall, so I went with Portis, and Maroney at the 1-2 turn. I'm a little concerned about Maroney's shoulder, but he still has time to get it healed IMO. Although with his running style, his shoulder could get injured real easy also. Or he could stay healthy and end up in the top 10. I'll gamble. I also think people will be kicking themsleves for sleeping on Portis this year, so I was really happy to see him there at the turn.

3-4 turn, I just could not get excited about having Plax, Ward, Coles, Branch, or S. Moss as my #1 WR in a start 3 WR 14 team best ball league. I also didn't want to take the scraps at all postions picking last, so I took Palmer and Heap. IMO Both should be top 5 at thier positions this year, and puts me ahead of the run, when ever that may hit. Also considering the scoring for Qb and TE in this league, and the fact that I was picking on the turn. I decided to gamble at Wr, and hope to throw enough #### against the wall and hope some sticks every week at WR. The thing that really killed me about these picks were that I really like Bulger, and Witten this year as the better value, but knew Bulger would be gone for sure, and figured Palmer was the safer pick.

5-6 Just stared taking as many WR's as I could. I like Chambers to rebound this year. I have always felt like he was underated, and that his lack of a decent QB has kept him from the top 10 IMO. I think Green will be a big help, and he should have a nice year. Not saying top 10, but he will outpreform his ADP for sure. I had him on the radar for the 3-4 turn, so I was happy to see him still on the board. As for Calvin, If Mike Fuerry can catch 98 balls in that offense, I'm sure he will be productive enough to keep me competitive.

7-8 Even though I am high on Portis, I didn't want a Portis injury ro ruin my season. It was about time, for Betts to go and I could'nt risk not getting him since I was already gonna suck at WR. I also think Betts will score a few times for me also. I like Henderson to get most of the looks at Wr2 THIS year in NO. I also love to have at least one home run type guy at WR, since it is best ball.

9-10 Well, times are hard at WR, so I took Both Jax starters from last year at WR. If either one end up as WR 1 in Jax, I am happy at this point. Hopefully i got the WR 2 also, but beggers can't be choosers at this point. Besides, I hear they want to throw the ball down the field more this year with the NEW OC. :bag:

I was hoping Mason would still be there, but Ollie started his 3 round run of heartbreak.

11-12 Heartbreak continues, was gonna snag Losman as the backup QB, but Ollie strikes again. Got stubborn and took Rhodes instead of a different backup QB, ended up with Croyle..... I showed em!! Happy to get Toomer though, I thought about taking him over one of the Jax boys, but couldn't decide which one, so I gambled and Toomer was on the board. Happy considering my Wr's suck in case I havn't mentioned that yet.

13-14 3rd times the charm Ollie! Wanted Dallas Def, but no luck. Was surprised it even got that close. They were the 11 D off the board. With Wade I see them in the top 10 for sure, MAYBE top 5. Nice Pick Ollie! So, I took Indy. BFD! I needed one at least. Also took my boy Wilkins. Already planned on 1 kicker so I could have an extra Wr, because they suck.

15-16 grabbed Steve Smith, thinking I'd have the Wr2 in NY locked up. We'll see. Also got a backup TE Alex Smith. SWEET! Heap beter stay healthy. At least he plays hurt.

17-18 Just Couldn't pass on the future Pro Bowler Croyle! BYE weeks kinda dictated this pick also. Was hoping to get TB Def since they have been going late this year, but good ole Mr. Wonderful was there again to dash those hopes ( Just playing Ollie) Took Washington hoping those safety's will make some big plays.

All in all. I like my team. My Wr's suck, but you can't be good everywhere. Not quite as bad as 16 teams, but this is a tough group. Drafting at the turn was fun even though heartbreak is a gaurentee at some point, if not throughout the draft. Especially with this group. Seems like I have been towards the front of the draft recently with the RB-WR-WR start, so drafting in the back was fun, and a nice change.

Good Luck to all!!
