RIP Kaye Cowher (1 Viewer)

Very sad. Amazing that this is the first we've heard of her having cancer. Wonder if it's played a role in Bill's decision not to be coaching at this time?

Condolences to the Cowher family.

I never even knew. Cancer took both my parents way too early. It is the one thing I hope this generation finds a way to overcome.

I'm sure the Steelernation, Steelers' organization, and folks around the NFL will reach out to Cowher if they have not already.

My thoughts too. Maybe it was even the reason for him not to return to the Steelers.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Cowher family. 54 years young, Kaye Cowher, what a sad day for Steeler Nation.

Condolences to the Cowher family.

Cancer is such devastating disease that has touched most all of us in one way or another. Hopefully a significant medical break through for fighting it comes sooner rather than later.

That is a GREAT pic with that story. She looks like she was a lot of fun to hang around with.

Very sad.

From everything I have heard she was a great person. RIP

For anyone interested in making a donation on Mrs. Cowher's behalf, her family has asked that they be directed to Family Resources of Pennsylvania (412)-363-1702; www.familyresourcesofpa.org.
