I think Rivers is going to have a BIG day today. I'm starting him over Delhomme, Pennington, and even Brees. Just a hunch, but he throws 3 TDs and close to 300 yards. Anyone drinking with me?

I'm starting him over Eli in one league and agree that he's in for a good game. I am not expecting 300 and 3 tds, but I would not be upset if that's what he puts up.

I agree. I'm a huge Rivers fan, and I think they will continue to bring him along slowly, just let him not lose the game, and let LT2 win it.

I'm thinking alot of LT also but I figure Marty will have Rivers take some shots downfield. I would imagine the plan is to feed him little bits of the offense each week and be guarded to keep his confidence high, soon enough they'll be running every play. He knows the O, he's been there long enough, I'm thinking this is purely for on the field experience.

I like icon's prediction there. I'd expect somewhere in the vicinity of 10-15 passes with a really high YPA and 1 to 2 TDs vs. 0 INTs.
