With Vick at QB all season, I'll go with Jenkins.

With Shaub at QB, I go with Lelie.

I don't think Vick is good enough to play to Lelie's skills. Believe Jenkins will garner a greater amount of passes, but for shorter distances than Lelie.

Throwing Crumpler out of the equation because he wasn't asked about and, if healthy, I think we all agree he is the best receiver on the team..

Here's how I see the other three breaking down:

Jenkins: 43-566-3

White: 37-537-4

Lelie: 37-550-3

Jenkins has emerged as Vick's go to Receiver, over this pre-season, Jenkins has been targeted by Vick more often than Roddy White. That said, there is too many options in Atlanta for any of them to emerge as anything but spot starters in Fantasy. That said, Jenkins should be around the 700-Yard mark this season, and a goal line favorite, maybe 6-7 Touchdowns.

I'll go with Jenkins too. White seemed to be the sexy pick on this board before Lelie came along, but even then I was dubious. I just think Jenkins is the better overall player. Now it appears White and Lelie may cancel each other out a bit. Jenkins is also more likely to get red zone looks.

As for Crumpler, I think he has peaked. Vick has more options now than he had in the past, and hopefully Vick has matured as a QB enough to start looking to them more. Crump is still a strong TE play, but I don't see him achieving his consensus #5 TE ranking any more.

i think your projections on White are just right, i think your proj. on Jenkins are a little low, and i think your proj. on Lelie are a little high. i think there are a couple of teams that will have better #3 WR options than the Falcons #1 WR.

I appreciate all the comments. I think I'm leaning towards Jenkins, myself. Here's why:

1) He is taller and heavier than either of the other 2 guys @ 6'4" 217lbs.

2) entering his 3rd year - traditionally a good break out year for WR's

This is based on nothing but gut instinct but I think White will emerge as the clear no. 1 this season, and may even make Vick look good.

With Vick as the QB, his strengths are the deep ball, and weaknesses are obviously accuracy. Jenkins is the best route runner of the trio, though has the worst deep speed. Conventional wisdow would have you think that the speed guys would be utilized more effectively by Vick. Unfortunately, both White and Lelie have similar skillsets. I think White easily outproduces Lelie, as I see him a starter all year considering the work he's put in all offseason. Make no mistake, he's leaps and bounds more prepared for the NFL game than he was last season. Jenkins is a wildcard though. Vick enjoyed using a guy like Finneran as his checkdown, so i can see Jenkins taking on that role. Nobody will be a fantasy star in the trio, but I think White has the most upside. Jenkins is likely to outproduce them both though, seeing as White and Lelie will have to share deep looks.

Well said.I'd also add that my vote was for Jenkins because I envision a starting combo of White/Jenkins at the start of the season and Lelie/Jenkins at the end of the season. Lelie has proven more than either White or Jenkins up until now but he's got a late start in that offense.

I think you're seeing the answer in preseason, Michael Jenkins! He's getting redzone target and catches for TD's. It seems they are making an effort to go to him, even w/ Crumpler in the game too.

Based on what?Last year, White had more red zone targets than Jenkins and was a better deep threat. He also outproduced Jenkins in the second half of the season. Jenkins is entering his third year, which people like to tout as oftentimes being a breakout year, but White is entering his second year. Which transition, first year to second year or second year to third year, is likely to yield the most improvement? I'd say first to second.

Now that Lelie is there, it may be true that he impacts White's value more than Jenkins's value, since White and Lelie are both deep threats. But I don't get why people think Jenkins is a better player.

I agree with your take on Crumpler. I think he is overrated. Last year amounted to a career year for him, yet everyone expects him to match or exceed it. I don't think so.
