I actually paired him with Stafford and Orton. Between the two, they play 4 of the worst 8 pass defenses in 2009 the first 5 weeks of the season. Orton is terribly underrated and Stafford has breakout written all over him. I figure that can tide me over until week 6.

To me you need a top6-7 QB so you that you don't need him early but then the back half of the season you should have a monster combo at QB.

12 team re-draft took Big Ben late to match up with McNabb & Garrad. Just missed on getting Stafford, and now McNabb might be out week one, but Orton is on the wire.

We draft 3, took Hass for the week4 match up with St Louis. I got Romo in round 3, Big Ben in round 9, Hass in round 18, was happy with where that happened. Romo not looking good right now but I maintain they look better when the games are for real...we'll see.

To get that combo I'd have to miss out on a top 3 TE. I feel the TE would do more than two great QBs, where one is sitting most weeks.
Both of these teams should come out passing early and often.This could be the perfect 3 QBBC - all available outside of top 12 in most drafts.

In ia 14 team dynasty league, I'm rolling the dice with Kolb and Stafford--at this point I think Stafford may be better than Kolb by years end

Do any of you plan on starting Ben more than a week or two? You seem to have gotten good value but your QBs don't meet the OP's intent.

He asked a question. It was answered. What intent to you read into his question? You want someone to project how many games Roths will be their starter for? Kind of absurd to even ask. Let's see how long he is suspended. Then let's see how he plays when he returns.

I would suspect that a 2-game suspension would bump him up a round or two but a 3-game suspension might actually lower his ADP.Most everyone thinks it will be 4-weeks which would allow Ben to practice with the team for 2 weeks before playing Cleveland. That sounds a lot better than a 3-week suspension where Ben would ahve less than a week with the team to get ready to face the Ravens.
Actually if Goodell really wanted to punish Ben he would reduce the suspension to 3 games.

Ben being suspended made the QB situation interesting. I decided to give the Cutler/Ben combo a try. I got Cutler at the end of the 5th, and Roethlisberger at the end of the 9th.
I was lucky to get Cutler, frankly. Favre and Eli had gone in the 4th and early 5th, which made me happy. The picks immediately before Cutler were: Kolb, Flacco, Cutler. So I would have had one of those three (all serviceable), and I preferred Cutler I guess, so again I was happy with how it worked out.
Not feeling too good about it, but that is mostly because I love having a stud QB. Also because I can't stand Cutler. Oh well, should work out ok.
I went WR-WR (White, Austin) with 1.12 and 2.01 - then McCoy, Gates, Cutler, Stewart, Spiller, Floyd, Roethlisberger, Dallas. Really don't feel good about the team, but this is supposed to be fun, and I enjoy the fact that (a) I am taking a chance and (b) my pre-draft plan worked out insofar as who I got at QB.
I probably should have grabbed Steve Jackson at 2.01 instead of Austin, allowing me to grab Steve Smith (Car) instead of McCoy.
