Pretty close to what I was thinking. 70-80 total yards and likely a TD. Rivers will move the ball and he will get a chance to score.I have no choice (Mathews owner; thin @ RB). Seattle run D isn't bad, and they play much better at home overall:17 carries65 yds.6 TD2 recep13 yds
more like 40 and 2 tds but close to the same total points...However, tds are less of a guarentee than yards so that's a good thing if you are playing him.If someone else had snagged him and was playing him, your opponent for example, would you still expect him to get almost a hundred yards and a TD?Just curious..
You guys are on crack, rivers is throwing for 3 td's...Sproles has a good a chance at a TD as Tolbert.About what I was thinking. Maybe 2 catches for 10 yards as well.16 57 2 TDsShawnk

I don't put much stock in stuff like the above. SF looks awful, and who knows about Denver? All we really know is SD has a good offense, which leads me to believe Tolbert will be in a pretty good position to score a TD.Slevin Kelevra said:don't get too excitedWeek 1:- Gore vs Seattle 17 carries, 38 yds Week 2:- Moreno vs Seattle 24 carries, 51 yds, 1 td- Buckhalter 11 carries, 19 yds, 1 tdOVERALL against Seattle D- 57 carries, 114 yds, 2tdGarts said:anyone rolling him out there and over whom?I might sit Best for him....I know I know..can we expect 15-18 carries and close to 100 yds and a score? If they are way behind, Sproles likely gets more snaps.18 carries92 yards1 td

Tolbert runs around a 4.7, Turner is MUCH faster.harryhood said:Trying to figure out how this guys size and skill set is ANY different than Mike Turners. Any difference between the two other than opportunity? Size and speed looks pretty close and I would say he is a better pass catching back than Turner.
I'm sorry but I had to laugh when I read the thread title. I am seeing 4.51 for Turner as opposed to 4.68 for Tolbert. Nothing really jaw dropping there.Tolbert runs around a 4.7, Turner is MUCH faster.harryhood said:Trying to figure out how this guys size and skill set is ANY different than Mike Turners. Turner probably can't run a 4.5 anymore so saying Turner is MUCH faster is definitely an overstatement even though he is indeed faster. Tolbert probably also has 10 pounds on Turner but speed and size obviously don't paint the whole picture of a running back's skill set.I am seeing 4.51 for Turner as opposed to 4.68 for Tolbert. Playing against him, huh? Just kidding. I see a similar line. 90 total yards and a good chance at a score.17-56, 3-22 0 tds
True, but he still wont be targeted too often with Sproles in the same backfield.Tolbert is also an excellent receiver, that part of his game is being vastly underrated by a lot of people.

Starting him in 3 leagues - two of which were easy, the last I'm trying to decide between Tolbert, Best or Ronnie Brown.Matchup-wise it seems like Best is the logical choice to sit. Two weeks and people want a bronze cast already...Why would you start Tolbert over Best???Garts said:anyone rolling him out there and over whom?

Call me CRAZY, but I am in a heavy TD league and I think Tolbert has a better chance to score...Why would you start Tolbert over Best???Garts said:anyone rolling him out there and over whom?I might sit Best for him....I know I know..can we expect 15-18 carries and close to 100 yds and a score? If they are way behind, Sproles likely gets more snaps.18 carries92 yards1 td
Same situation I have. I also have Stewart. I'm starting Tolbert. History has told me that he'll either duplicate last week or be a total bust. I'd rather role the dice with him until CAR gets back on track. Cinn. will be loading up against the run to force a new rookie QB to beat them with one weapon, S Smith.i own him. debating starting him over DWill. probably be a GTD.
Matchup-wise that seems illogicalThe Seahawks have allowed 2 yards per carry while the Vikings have allowed 3.7. Regardless, you don't overrate matchups to the points where you bench a guy that's been the best back in fantasy for Mike Tolbert.Starting him in 3 leagues - two of which were easy, the last I'm trying to decide between Tolbert, Best or Ronnie Brown.Matchup-wise it seems like Best is the logical choice to sit. Same here. Easy decision, IMO. Wish I didn't have to, though.Rolling him out instead of JC in KC. Haley needs to die.
+1 for me. May Tolbert destroy. Good luck guys!Same here. Easy decision, IMO. Wish I didn't have to, though.Rolling him out instead of JC in KC. Haley needs to die.
Add another one to the group starting Tolbert over Charles. But it's not as easy a decision for me. I think the SEA run D is for real and suspect the Chargers are gonna have to move the ball through the air. I do like their chances there though and think Tolbert should have the opportunity to get a score or 2 on short TDs.But you hate benching a guy like Charles b/c one run or catch can make his day. In the end though, I think Tolbert is the percentage play. I wish death on no one but Haley needs a brain transplant.+1 for me. May Tolbert destroy. Good luck guys!Same here. Easy decision, IMO. I'm serious. I think he's gonna have a big game, stars are lined up for him to have a career game. He'll probably settle back into obscurity soon, but I do feel that 150 yards from scrimmage and 2 TDs (maybe 3, as I predicated) reflects his performance this week a lot better than the lowball predictions throughout this thread.Holy C... Let's hope so but there's a decent chance Mathews plays this week. I went with my gut and played Charles over Tolbert at the last minute in my flex spot.Tolbert did about what I expected but didnt get the scoring chances. SEA run D is better than people give them credit for. This week I could really use Tolbert with Charles on bye and potential injury to Pierre.I think the matchup of Arizona at home is much more favorable. Will be very interested to see if Mathews practices at all the next few days.Maybe this week?yea maybeI'm serious.
