Romo has broken bone in back (1 Viewer)

Is this it for Romo then?  That hit didn't seem to be one that should have resulted in such a serious injury - feels like his body may be giving out on him here.  I wouldn't be surprised to see him retire next year.

So I should be what? Jealous, envious? Talk like a frat boy? The ####ty thing about watching athletes is you watch them fail on a grandiose scale that most never have to experience. It's why he makes the money he does. Would I trade places with him? Sure, but I'm not sure why I'm not allowed to take pity on a dude that just had his back broken.
I appreciate your compassion.

In a man... appreciating another man being compassionate sort of way.

no, just not at all sorry for him.

you shouldn't feel sorry for a guy who 99.9% people are envious of

I would think it should be. If I were him I'm calling it, shouldn't the Cowboys think that too though? Not sure how much longer they should keep going back to him.

Can Garrett be the backup and a coach/player?! Would be great to see the head coach in uniform and actually get in a game.

Romo needs to hang 'em up so that he doesn't lose his ability to play golf in his twilight years.

Seriously, that's not a joke. Its clearly something he loves to do and he's already filthy rich. Don't play so long and have such a bad back that you can't pursue your other passion in your retirement, Tony.
