Dayne had a chance at a shortyardage TD last week, but Kubiack passed instead...after the game he said he would like to run in those instances next time....also he's playing MIA who have one of the worst rushing defenses in the league. Sure he's not a sexy start, but you could do worse.Did Green play last week? what was Dayne's #'s?

Certainly helps the run def, but he's still a decent start. Foster also has a good matchup but I gotta go with Dayne here.
I agree. Guy is slow and plodding. He looked like crap last week. I know Miami has been horrible against the run, but it's not like our OL is blowing people off the ball either. We lost Steve McKinney at C against the Colts; Mike Flanagan is past his prime. Last season Dayne's big games coincided with McKinney being inserted into the lineup at C; the run-blocking is noticeably worse with Flanagan in there. The positive for Dayne is that the coaching staff appears to have little faith in Gado. Dayne will get most of the carries, and I'd expect to see Jameel Cook as the 3rd down back. Man, I wish Chris Taylor hadn't gotten hurt in preseason...Did Green play last week? what was Dayne's #'s?
