Did you really change your mind that quickly?Walker is a health risk and i think of him as their 2But i guess Walker is 1 and Curry is 2 on second thought

He's had 62 and 55 catches each of the last two years, each for over 700 yards. He also went from 1 to 4 TDs last year.
He definitely has value in a PPR Survivor league.

He has the top player taken in last year's draft. We have no idea how well or how fast Russell will develop in his 2nd year, and his first year with a training camp as starter under his belt. "He has no QB" is a very narrow minded comment IMO.Bye week filler at best. He has no QB. I cut him as my #6 WR in favor of Drew Bennett who will no doubt be cut to make room for a rookie WR sometime during the year. He would be a weekly starter on a good team.
Not sure if that matters a lot in this situation. Curry was a QB in college and was expected to take a few years before he was a true threat at the WR position. Throw in a couple of injuries, and an absolutely miserable team around him, and you should be able to see that he'd have to be the second coming of Rice to post great numbers. In fact, when you consider what he DID accomplish given all of his circumstances, I think that his potential upside is MUCH MUCH higher then currently being touted. He may finally have a QB, he's over his injuries, and he now has the experiance.Curry will be 29 when the season starts and has yet to 'break out.' I would expect him to be a serviceable WR4, but no more.
60ish catches on a miserable team is nothing to sneeze at........the op is right..he's beeing under-rated and over-looked.He's had 62 and 55 catches each of the last two years, each for over 700 yards. He also went from 1 to 4 TDs last year.He definitely has value in a PPR league.
Interesting take. I definitely haven't looked at his situation from that angle.I agree with a couple of the previous comments:*Walker will play the roll of WR1 on the field*Curry's value is higher in PPR leagues*Miller will be the threat to steal a lot of balls on throwing downsOverall I think his value will be higher then the 50th WR taken, but I wouldn't put him any higher then the WR3 in a 12 team league on any given week. Not sure if that matters a lot in this situation. His catches dropped from 62 in 2006 to 55 last season. He's part of a miserable offense that should continue to have growing pains. He's had 62 and 55 catches each of the last two years, each for over 700 yards. He also went from 1 to 4 TDs last year.

a low end WR3 seems about right to me for this season, but his upside may be as high as a solid WR2. Because of that, I'm a little bit higher on him for dynasty, as it may take a season or two to reach that upside due to his very young QB.Interesting take. has a ton of potential, but thats another way of saying 'never having done it'he is wildly inconsistent, and plays in an offense with a 2nd year player/first time starter (Russell) at QB. That usually means time of possession will be WAY down as the 'new guy' learns the ropes, makes mistakes, etc.. With fewer opportunities how can you expect Curry to do more than he has in the past? Even Peyton Manning was error-prone his first full season as a starter. Curry isn't the #1 WR in Oakland, Walker is...It would be hard to imagine Walker catching just 70 balls in '08, let alone Curry ( 50-60?)Realistically, would you rather have Anthony Gonzalez as a #2 WR in Indy , or Curry as a #2 in Oakland?Would you rather have Amani Toomer or Curry?I'd put Curry way below Toomer and Gonzalez.Guy will be the #1 for a team with a QB who though is young likes to air it out.Well worth the risk being that he is like the 50th receiver in early mocks i have seenany reasons why he cant be real solid?
