Ronnie Brown for Thanksgiving.... (1 Viewer)

Has anyone heard any news on R. Brown? I know he went into Sunday's game vs. MIN with a tweaked groin. According to FBG's injury report, he re-tweaked it during the game and ended up with 2 yards on 12 carries (and a fumble for good measure).

What would you expect from him in Thursday's game @ DET? If he's not too banged up I'm thinking 80/1 on the ground and perhaps another 30 yrds or so in the air.

I don't know if he'll play or not. But I think the Lions are missing their starting defensive tackles.

From Rotoworld:

Ronnie Brown-RB- Dolphins Nov. 21 - 11:38 am et Ronnie Brown was at practice Tuesday. His groin injury doesn't seem like a major problem. He has a great chance to bounceback from his terrible Week 11 effort on Thanksiving day.
Ronnie Brown-RB- Dolphins Nov. 20 - 7:05 pm et Dolphins coach Nick Saban described Ronnie Brown, who had been nursing a hurt groin, as "no worse for wear" after Monday's walkthrough.Brown turned in his worst performance as a pro in Week 11, totaling two yards on 12 carries. He may be listed as questionable this week, but seems likely to play at Detroit on Thanksgiving.
Leaning Brown over Thomas Jones at the RB2 spot this week. I think Ronnie Brown's sub-par performance is more the result of the Vikings run defense than his groin injury getting worse.

while he was in negative yeards for most of the game, he did end up with +2 yds. woohoo.

I'd worry. A tweaked groin and a short week on the road is a combination that spells out not a great week. If you have a good option, use it. If you don't have a good option, temper expectations.

Additionally, one might assume that Harrington will be itching to have more passing plays available to him against his old team.

I also have read in a few articles that he injured his wishbone, this could be a tough call. I'm sitting him as opposed to winging it.........you know how those wishbone injuries can linger! :bye:

He practiced today without an injury jersey on, that should tell you enough. He's gonna be good to know by Thursday and run all over those kitties.
