Ronnie Brown-Playing status? (1 Viewer)

I dont mean this to be a who do I start thread but with Playoffs hanging in the balance and an odd statement from R.Brown, I am left with a tough decision becoming murkier. Due to injuries I have to choose between S.Morris,M.Turner and J.Fargas as my #2RB, I was hopeing Brown would be out one more game but all this week it was looking like a upgrade in status as the starter but now he says he would prefer to be Sammie's backup.

My two-part question is this,-Should We/I read something more into his statement than the team is letting on concerning his health and playing status?, rarely does a player state openly that he would not want to be the starter and main ball carrier but it's almost always 99.9% the opposite and also, should S.Morris be upgraded in projections if he is the main ball carrier he should have a pretty nice game.

What say you sharks and same situationers out there.-IMPORTANT-

First time I've heard this. As an RB owner with other options, Im not really considering starting him this week since it's his first game back.

Despite the quote, I'd expect Morris to see a good bit of time. I personally think sticking with Morris is probably your best(?) option bc LT should still be featured since they're vying for homefield throughout and play a respectable team; I wouldn't trust any Raider and KC's D might actually have surpassed their O for once.

I think Morris will get close to 50% of the touches, probably be 3DRB. It's not like anythings on the line for them so I wouldn't expect them to forcefeed carries to RB during his first game back.

I've heard we'll know more after the Saturday practice. That's all we'll have to go on before Monday, so we'll have to make our best decisions based on today's info.

From Rotoworld:

Sammy Morris will start for the Dolphins on Monday night.

Coach Nick Saban said Friday that he'll "decide how much we use Ronnie relative to how he finishes the week." Brown's practices thus far have went off without a hitch. The two may wind up splitting carries.
