Rookie 1.1 or 1.3, which would you rather have? (1 Viewer)

This year it seems like there's quite a bit of parity, or at the very least, a variety of opinions, regarding the first 3 picks of the rookie draft. Recent polls in the SP have McFadden clearly out in front as the top choice. But is it clear enough that you would absolutely want the top pick? Or would you be ok sitting back and taking whichever of the big 3 is still on the board?

In other words, would you rather sit in the driver's seat and have your pick of the big 3 RBs or would you prefer to have that decision made for you and just pick up whomever is left over? Why or Why not?

No brainer - better to have 1st choice over getting sloppy seconds or thirds.

I own the 1.3 in a dynasty draft and DMC is much better than "the other two".

There is always the possibility of trading down.

I think a better poll to indicate what you are getting at would be something like:

would you give up anything of mild value to move up from 1.3 to 1.1, or would you take anything of mild value to go from 1.1 to 1.3?

In my leagues 1.1 comes with 2.1 3.1 etc. I like the idea of picking who I want the most and having the first crack in each round. The only reason 1.3 could be better imo is in a serp draft, but even then 2.10 is barely different than 2.12 to me. 1.1 is quite a bit different to 1.3. No brainer. 1.1.

Yeah, you're probably right. That seems more in line with what I'm getting at. I'm interested in how many people with the 1.1 would actually be open to trading down to the 1.3. If so, what would you be looking for in return. What's the gap between 1.1 and 1.3 worth to you value-wise? On the other hand, if you have the 1.3 what would you be willing to give in order to move up two spots?
