Rookie DEs for Dynasty (1 Viewer)

What rookie idp players are going to be good dynasty players that actually will be designated as DE this season? I like Michael Johnson from Cincy but haven't heard much from how he is doing in camp... Any info from any homers?

Also, any other rookie DEs that look good so far... My draft is in a couple days.

Thanks

Kruger - RavensAvril - Lions, Scott - Raiders are both second year guys that might be available. Ellis - Raiders was available on 2 out of 3 of my dynasty leagues if you are looking for a veteran. Seems like he has gotten lost in the shuffle.

Well we just did our rookie draft

Connor Barwin is a must have. I rank him 2nd

Aaron Maybin looks to be a DE but he could be moved to OLB at any moment. Same goes with Everette Brown

Lawrence Sidbury will be pass rush specialist from get go and is just another John Abraham injury from becoming Junior

Jeremy Jaurmon With Carter and Daniels being old could surprise also

As far as this year, probably nobody. Michael Johnson probably has the best chance to make an impact this season, but I'm not overly excited about any rookie DE making in impact this year.

3 guys have stood out to me:

Johnson - Cincy

Kruger - Baltimore

And a sleeper:

Nick Reed - Seattle

For those of you guys who haven't seen him, he's a very-high motor guy who has 3.5 sacks, a pick, and a blocked punt. he was a 7th round pick out of Oregon who played as a hybrid there, I think, and has just missed on a couple of other sacks. he may not pan out, but he is definitely a guy who should be on your radar. He has to make the team, because a DE-poor team should sign him in a heartbeat.

Agreed on these guys especially Sidbury. He should be getting lots of snaps this season and is the heir-apparent to Abraham.Brian Orakpo should have a big impact this season as a LB/DE, hard to say what his future position eligibility will be at DE.Everette Brown should get some spot-duty this season, and then take over for Peppers (1 yr contract) next season. Also, Larry English (if he qualifies at DE). With Merriman nursing back and this being his last year under contract, English looks to be a great dynasty pickup.

Any word on Brian Cushing??? 3 downs??? Good dynasty value? Adibi is playing for the same position???

THANks guys on all the replies!

Conner Barwin is going to be a player. He will see significant amount of snaps on passing downs. If Texans can't get better play inside, not out of the question to see Texans move Smith inside and Barwin get a starting role opposite Mario. WTS, DT play looked better tonight.

John McClain / Houston Chronicle

On defense, each starting tackle position can be had if a player will step up and take it. Cody is pushing Okoye. Unfortunately, Frank Okam isn't pushing Robinson. Until Travis Johnson returns from hernia surgery, left tackle might not be settled.

Defensive end Antonio Smith, who moves inside in passing situations, might have to move inside to see if he can elevate the tackle performance on run downs.

Starting jobs up for grabs

What about in 2-3 years? Which of these guys are the ones to stash?
